Free Agency is at the point where players are signing near vet minimum contracts, and Evans is still available.
In 2017, Evans was a key member of the Alabama team that won the National Championship. And the OC on that great team- Brian Daboll.
Evans was a first round pick of the Titans, and after half a season as a backup, he became a starter and that starters role in Tennessee would continue for the next 3.5 years.
Last year he was with Falcons. Started all 17 games and finished the season with 159 tackles.
He has never been known for his coverage skills, but at 6' 2" and 235 pounds, has always been a very reliable tackler.
Still only 27, he was been healthy for almost his entire career.
With that Daboll connection, would love to see the Giants "flood" the LB room with a reasonable cost addition like Evans- the same way we are seeing them "flood" the WR room.
