Final season of one of the best shows in recent memory. Glad theyre telling a story and walking away while its still great. Any guesses as to how it all plays out?
I already think it hit a wall but maybe I’ll be surprised. No idea how it ends since I don’t put it past HBO to leave the possibility for a movie in 5 years.
But, I'm expecting the big plot twist/cliff hanger to go the way of all the past season finales, and we see a rinse and repeat of the kids doing a lousy job of opposing each other and Daddy, same as seasons 1-3.
children can be the successor, they're all horrible people, I doubt it's Tom, Gerri or Greg.
I was thinking maybe Ewan (his brother - he's still alive, right?) just in an unexpected twist, and maybe replace Logan with someone a lot like him but opposite. Kind of an ironic twist.
The S2 finale, the buildup on the mega yacht to Logan announcing the sacrificial lamb, when Tom has a meltdown and eats from Logan's plate will probably always be my favorite scene in the series... Thank you Logan. - ( New Window )
he was in Anna Karenina, he was Mr Darcy in that Jane Austen classic - the dude has serious chops, and it’ll be fun watching what he does in his new “position”.
- start the season with the normal sibling rivalry stuff
- the siblings are in factions as usual. They start to bring in larger outside forces to their side - politics, business, social influence groups
- obviously you have moments when each side believes it is winning
- ultimately, Logan dies or is otherwise taken off the board (scandal, illness, bad power play)
- but finally, the company just falls into the hands of a bigger force. Logan was the embodiment of the throne, and in the end there was never a way to truly be a successor to him

Sharp eyes may notice that this is basically what Rupert acknowledged when selling to Disney
If the siblings truly worked together with no ego, then they could’ve done a good job running Waystar. Roman would have to be the CEO, Kendall the COO, and Shiv could run personnel. Roman was the only one of the three who asked what the company they were bidding for was actually worth. He was also the only one taking emotion out of it.
Greg hit 4 Grand Slams in the ep, including his “joke” about where Logan’s kids were.
I don’t know if Tom was fucking with Greg about Logan having cameras everywhere or if he was serious.
RE: Has it ever been addressed how Logan went from
peeing on the office floor to regaining his mojo and running the business?
I feel like it's an open question whether the stroke Logan supposedly suffered at the end of the first episode wasn't completely faked. It wasn't completely out of left field (Logan peed in a closet in the episode's first scene), but the timing of it was always curious to me. And we can't exactly put an upper bound on the limits to which Logan will go to mindfuck his children.

As others have said, the plot kind of hit a wall in season 3. I'm glad they decided to pull the ripcord. Other shows would have tried to milk it through 5 or even 6 seasons. It's getting repetitive, just finish it off.
of starting the last season same as the first season, Logan having another birthday party at his house. And to me they really showed him being miserable without his kids there....even though he has mixed feeling about them at best. To me the most revealing scene in the episode was when his "assistant" calls the kids and basically begs them to call Logan for his birthday.
but I always liked the opening scene where it showed home movies of children riding an elephant at the Bronx zoo because it brings back good memories from when I did that as a child.

but no real idea.
He's the best character on the show, IMO
The whole show is just a fun watch.

Gregg and Tom awesome as always with the extra cringy Logan joke telling.
So much fun.
Really? I don't find her remotely attractive

It ain’t her beauty, it’s her booty.

Yeah, nothing about her is attractive. Willa is way hotter.
I thought they were going there in the diner. I thought his security guy was like, he's loopy again.

She’s not attractive facially, but she has really nice body. I wouldn’t kick her out of bed.

The Ukrainians could use her ass to break through the Russian lines!
Who wants to sniff Greg's finger?
"I asked Logan for a selfie"

Not sure I heard it exactly right, but it sounded like he said "she is wolfing down canapes like a famished warthog"
lol
and he also said her bag is so big it's like she's going to a rummage sale and it's more appropriate for a robbery than a fancy birthday party.

Uh huh.
I know it's the point of the show, but put them all together and the kids add up to half a competent businessman.
The 'who wants to smell Greg's finger?' may have been the highlight of the series. Hilarious.

I also loved Tom verbally destroying Greg's date. Some very good quotes in there.
Roman… “We know him pretty well actually, I mean we never licked his big omelette nipples.”
“We’re going to have to say no, you can pop back in your mouth, K bye.”
LMAO
