It sounds like Zeke’s market is not great

eric2425ny : 3/25/2023 10:15 pm
Dude runs like a monster in between the tackles. If we can get him cheap do you pair him with Saquon? The revenge games against Dallas would be unreal.
Not only do I think he’s mostly done physically
gersh : 3/25/2023 10:27 pm : link
By most accounts, he’s not the kind of guy you bring I when you’re building the character of a young team.
zeke been on the downside for 2 yrs
Payasdaddy : 3/25/2023 10:28 pm : link
another reason u have to be giving saquon more than 3 yrs
i think he has more left than zeke did in yr 6 (coming up)
Bengals should be all over him
eli4life : 3/25/2023 10:37 pm : link
Just for pass protection. They need to do what they can to reduce the hits on JB. He’s had way too many hits in his young career
RB market isn't great

If not longer. I’m not surprised there’s no interest in him. If you look at backs that have produced over the last several years that are without a team, it’s amazing and just shows how much the position has been devalued.
I would think the market for any cooked RB is not great

Kind of an asshole lol. Wish he’d jump in the toys for tots bin and never return.
He hasn't really been good since Dak had his injury

This. No doubt why SB trying to get his money now. But hope Giants hold firm. Even the franchise money is too high. And I love SB.
I’m good rolling with younger, hungry legs

like Breida, Brightwell, and some competition from a mid/late round pick or UDFA guys to complement Saquon

This is Breida's 7th year in the NFL. He isn't young.
Since losing both
kcgiants : 3/26/2023 8:17 am : link
Gates and Feliciano, the Giants can get Zeke to play center also.
I think he's underestimated here
Festina Lente : 3/26/2023 8:26 am : link
He still runs strong af and is a great blocker. Doesn't have the same speed but i don't think he's near cooked. I understand he's a cowboy and this easy to dislike but he'd be a good pickup by many teams. It's just a matter of how much he's asking for.
He’s not great
Dave in PA : 3/26/2023 8:39 am : link
Just like most RB’s that have been run into the ground on their rookie deals. Dallas was dumb enough to give him big second contract money. He didn’t “set a market” then, it was a cautionary tale of how not to waste money and build the team incorrectly

Thats excellent!
Bad team
Spirit of '86 : 3/26/2023 9:28 am : link
He did all his damage with the league's then best OL. I want to see him on a bad team getting hit behind the line and see how he does.
A great Oline has
Capt. : 3/26/2023 9:40 am : link
made many backs look better than they really are
Zeke on a reasonable contract
section125 : 3/26/2023 9:43 am : link
and given 12-15 snaps is not a bad thing. Dude can bring pain. Yes he is not what he was, but still a big strong guy.

You’re being incredibly disingenuous. I hate Dallas as much if not more than anyone but Zeke was a terrific RB. He’s obviously on the downside now but saying he was a product of the OL is laughable.
I agree he was an excellent back
Capt. : 3/26/2023 9:53 am : link
but if you don't think a great Oline contributed to his productivity you are foolish. Zeke would still have been good..........but not AS Good without that line.
If somehow Bijan Robinson fell to #25
CTGiants : 3/26/2023 10:20 am : link
I'd love to see them go in that direction despite the needs at OL. It would help take some of the load of Saquan especially at the end of games when Giants have the lead. Plus, hate to say it, but with Saquan's injury history.. if he did go down they'd have another strong 2 or 3 down back
I wouldnt sign Zeke for free

You’re right, I think he’s actually the same age as Zeke. But Zeke had about 3-4 times as many carries, a lot more wear and tear

You want them to draft a rb at 25 and keep Barkley ? Dave Gettleman, is that you?!
