with Peterson between Scherzer and Verlander. Though it was planned around Verlander pitching the home opener, it might work to the Mets favor having Peterson between those two.
Should be going Sunday. Looking forward to seeing Senga's debut.
tonight: Scherzer vs. Alcantara
Friday: Peterson vs. Luzardo
Saturday: Verlander vs. Cabrera
Sunday: Senga vs. Rogers
reports on Rogers this spring are good. From what I have heard a lot better than last year, except for one start he got hit hard. Mets just need to run up pitch counts on these guys and get them out early. As usual, Marlins have a questionable bullpen.

I'm not in NY anymore, are they widely distributed around the city (i.e., do you see them on tap at bars or see their cans at beer shops)?
It looks like a new place is opening up where McFadden's used to be.

Yeah. Ebbs has a tap room in Williamsburg (nice space) but their beer has pretty good distribution city wide. I was friendly with the brewery owner near my apt and he complained how they had "big money" behind them (he was completely unaware I knew who the Wilpons were). Their beer is pretty good, it's not particularly experimental "interesting" but it's very drinkable... and now award winning.
-Yeah McFadden's is being replaced by an Aramark/Mets owned space called "The K Korner", unfortunate name (and cheap looking logo(linked) but nice to have SOMETHING at the ballpark pre and post game Link - ( New Window )

K Korner is opening where McFadden’s used to be. Going on 4/29, looking forward to checking out the Korner.
Clearly the least interesting in the system. Vasil, Hamel are the only top 30 prospects on that team, Young, Nunez, McIIwain, Senger and I guess Schwartz (I'm not a believer in very lower power 1b personally) would be the others of interest.

damn just had canha/escobar flipped. i like buck's lineup better so ill take that L. if vogey walks escobar has a better chance driving him in with a homer compared to canha since even extra base hits dont score vogey.

Sources: Mets right-handed pitcher Bryce Montes de Oca had Tommy John surgery.
This is the second TJS for the 26-year-old that also had it back in 2013 when he was in High School.
His stuff looked absolutely incredible early this spring...
Rookie Mike Pelfrey level 2-seamer (before Mets ruined him)
This....or reinforce the notion that the Mets are cursed somehow!
assume we'll get the regular lineup?

The logo looks like a stock image and my guess is they pivoted from another tenant they had in mind

He did not. He's with Syracuse along with Baty, Alvarez, Megill etc.

I may try and go to Polar Park tomorrow and see the opener if I can get away from work and get tickets at face.
If not, definitely plan to go in July. Closer to me than Pawtucket was and Polar Park is really nice. Hopefully with a different Mets lineup.
First class, Neckbone. I’m also feeling nostalgic. This day always reminds me of Gary Carter’s opening day HR
I was just listing the projected starters by position. They haven't released any lineup etc.

probably to give him a lot of ABs.

Oh, ok. Positions skipped around a bit, and the rest made sense. My mistake.

Ridiculous. Low grade teres major strain.
Nice jinx
This year it didn't even take until the first pitch
Unbelievable.
