Still have a picture of his 1987 SB ring he won with the Redskins.
I've seen almost all of the kickers listed above. He may not have been the best one, but my favorite was Matt Bahr. He was unbelievably clutch in the 1990 run.
Ben was missing some toes from his kicking foot but was still effective. Was the PK when I started watching the GIANTS in 1955.
Frank Gifford. Was there anything he couldn't do on a football field?
Pat Summerall. Listed as an End, and actually lined up there a few times. His FG against Cleveland in the swirling snow (estimated at 49.5 yards but nobody really knows exactly due to all the snow on the field) is still one of the great NYG clutch plays of all time.
Ali Haji-Sheikh. Was the team's best scoring threat his rookie year. Despite the name he was born right here in the USA. Asked if he'd ever been to another country, he answered "Canada."
Matt Bahr. I remember watching him getting ready for the snap on yet another important kick and his expression looked like he was thinking "just another day at the office."
What about Daluiso? He was a staple on this team for a long time. He had a strong leg. He was one of the first kickers I saw kick a kickoff out of the end zone before they made the kickoff field shorter.
I used to see Gogolak often when I first moved here back in 1999.
His license plates said GOGO-3.I actually delivered wine to his house once. My friend owned a shop in Westchester that was one of the few places that carried good Hungarian wines at the time, Pete was a regular customer and a really nice guy. I was at the shop helping out and offered to make the delivery since it's right near my house.
... my favorite was Matt Bahr. He was unbelievably clutch in the 1990 run.
Bahr was indeed unbelievably clutch in the 1990 run. Fun facts: he was All-American in soccer in college, and his father Walter Bahr is in the National Soccer Hall of Fame, having been the long-time captain of the USMNT (including the squad that beat England in the WC in Brazil).

Chandler kicked for the Giants before the Packers
