For those interested night 1 kicks off tonight with Cena/Theory with the main event most likely being USO’s/Owens & zayne.
Also at 1 NXT stand and deliver I’m guessing Bron Breakker drops the belt to Hayes and gets called up. Both are ready and future big time superstars but I think they give him a run as the guy first.
I dislike Theory
Can’t see the USOs losing either, but their shtick is getting old, like Heyman.

Really? I think the bloodline loses everything this weekend

I think Theory wins and Jay White makes his debut and attacks him..
Id be shocked if Bloodline doesnt lose everything, they dont need the titles to ckntinue their storyline
I like the Usos, but the bloodline thing is well over done.

Theory is really good but boy did he dig himself into a huge hole a couple years ago and his character has paid the price. Now he seems to have grown up a bit and I think he wins as well. Also him being Vince’s young “protege” when Vince got the axe without the payoff hurt his character’s momentum more than people think hence the forcing things with him instead of it coming naturally. A clean win here will go a long long way to shed the he’s just a kid vibe
It got old then zayne took it to another level. Now it’s just time. No more part time champions please
The rock will end up being the elder that sent Solo
-Vince's mustache/dyed hair lol wtf
I like the Usos, but the bloodline thing is well over done.
Hmm cena wins has an open challenge Monday night and Breakker shows up.
I don't have enough interest to get WM this year. J Sports in Japan stopped airing WWE in the past year or two. That was my easiest way to watch.
I just don’t see it with Austin Theory. They’re trying to set him up as the next “guy” but he’s never gonna be that.
the tag match is the main event

Title is the ME. No chance a tag match will be.

It’s not. Cena and Theory is
The tag match most definitely SHOULD main event. Right move.

cena and theory opening the show
8. And probably a bit after 8 with national antmem and some kind of skit with Miz/etc
i went to the last mania at metlife and i got home around 230am
The Impact/New Japan Multiverse show is the next viewing for me. I'm looking forward to WM week in Philadelphia next year when I can go to the various shows during the week.
Strange huh? I mean he's a 45 years old man and everything lol
He's been announcing for the WWE, and wrestled in last year's Wrestlemania. He actually did a great job, for a newbie (he took the training seriously):
A Dream Come True: Pat McAfee's Full WrestleMania Week
Here he talks about the match.
Pat McAfee Talks All About His WrestleMania Match, Getting Stunned By Stone Cold Steve Austin
I think Paul was a high level college wrestler. Either way he’s a good athlete.
They could do a Bad Bunny vs Logan Paul match and it would probably better than most of AEW's crap
Quote:
Logan Paul so good at wrestling? He's better than people who've been doing it for years. I'm probably missing a few people but the last guy I recall to come in and just immediately have "it" was Kurt Angle - but at least he was a word class athlete already.
They could do a Bad Bunny vs Logan Paul match and it would probably better than most of AEW's crap
Wtf? Nobody was even talking about AEW. lmao
Anyway, night one was good. My only drawback is that basically every outcome was very predictable. Hopefully we get a curveball or two tonight.

That Omega v El Hijo del Vikingo was the drizzling craps.
Definitely called that match early
He can keep it with the TNT Title Belt he already gave him.
Same. I don't mind it necessarily because I like the swerve as everyone was expecting Cody to win. But now, HHH has kind of put himself in a corner. After such a historic world championship reign (no pun intended), you have to have Roman drop the belt at Wrestlemania. You have to. Roman dropping it at any other PPV would be a complete letdown and not capitalizing on your premier night. That means you're looking at another year of a part-time world heavyweight champion until the Rock or whoever beats Roman at Mania.

Because he doesn't show up every week and I don't even think he wrestles every PPV? I wouldn't say he fights the bare minimum, but he is not a fighting champion. He gets PLENTY of weeks off. He's trying to transition into Hollywood like his cousin.
Could they be waiting for Bron breakker? But again that would have to take at least a year to build him up. He is definitely the future face of the wwe
Or it makes perfect sense, Cody now goes through Solo, alwhile still having the story of getting the title that has alluded his family..
Then by next mania he is even bigger..
Rarely do people win on their first try at the title, the journey of the ups and downs makes it even sweeter when he wins

so who will ever beat Roman if not the 2 best babyfaces going now?

Probably was to quick to throw the belts onto cody tonight
Probably was to quick to throw the belts onto cody tonight
Probably the right call but the 2 things that annoy me is if they want Roman to be with the greats which I have no issue if that’s what they want, he should win most of these clean imo.
Secondly would be enough with the part time champion. The champ should be at just about every show and certainly every ppv. That shot was stupid with Brock and is just as stupid with Roman

He already beat Solo. The Uso's came to Romans aid so wtf is with that story? Jey is no longer conflicted again? Meh, this has been a great storyline but its been like 2 1/2 yrs now and we're right back where we started. Probably dont want Jey being a singles guy so they wont pull the trigger
With Cody he probably felt it was rushed and he hasnt faced adversity yet in this storyline. Now he has and yet he still has his momentum and he still is the top babyface...
In this case I think they blew it and Luger-ed Cody. I even thought they were going to do the Dusty Finish and have HHH change the decision and restart the match. My son and his friends were devastated.
Together, UFC and WWE will have global reach, impressive scale and omnichannel distribution. On a combined 2022 fiscal year-end basis, UFC and WWE achieved revenue of $2.4 billion and a 10% annual revenue growth rate since 2019.
“This is a rare opportunity to create a global live sports and entertainment pureplay built for where the industry is headed,” said Ariel Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor. “For decades, Vince and his team have demonstrated an incredible track record of innovation and shareholder value creation, and we are confident that Endeavor can deliver significant additional value for shareholders by bringing UFC and WWE together.”
“Given the incredible work that Ari and Endeavor have done to grow the UFC brand – nearly doubling its revenue over the past seven years – and the immense success we’ve already had in partnering with their team on a number of ventures, I believe that this is without a doubt the best outcome for our shareholders and other stakeholders,” said Vincent K. McMahon, Executive Chairman of WWE.
McMahon continued, “Together, we will be a $21+ billion live sports and entertainment powerhouse with a collective fanbase of more than a billion people and an exciting growth opportunity. The new company will be well positioned to maximize the value of our combined media rights, enhance sponsorship monetization, develop new forms of content and pursue other strategic mergers and acquisitions to further bolster our strong stable of brands. I, along with the current WWE management team, look forward to working closely with Ari and the Endeavor and UFC teams to take the businesses to the next level.”

Im well aware of NXT booking. Its easier to do that because its considered a minor league. I remember Sami and KO and hell my favorite feud is Ciampa and Gargano but that lasted so long also because of injuries.
Cody might never be as hot as he is right now. I got interested again with the bloodline story all the way back to Jey fighting Roman and then Sami went on for a year and I was really into it and I feel like nothing happened other than Sami and KO getting the belts. There was no friction that I saw between the usos and roman after they lost unless I missed a segment last night. Its just back to the same ole. I dont even think Jey turning on the Bloodline makes any sense now. They had it perfectly setup and they backed off
And please god, The Rock is an all time great and I get the connection but if he is the 1 to beat Roman, barf
Think so and apparently the ref told Snoop what to do. She should get a raise for thinking quickly

I agree with everytbing you said, i thought Reigns would lose and then begin the infeuding between the bloodline..
and i agree Reigns vs the Rock doesnt need the title..
Perhaps Cody goes through Solo and then works his way back to a title shot at summerslam and thats where Rock returns, Cody wins and Rock vs Reigns at mania..
We will see where it goes
tore his quad
Lol, no he's not. He's on Smackdown MAYBE once a month?

We wouldn’t see the infighting in the absolute minimum would be tonight. I think it’s more of little tiny clues here and there for a bit and coinciding with I think where solo goes solo (pun intended). The payoff and setup would be when it’s revealed it was the rock who sent solo. That’s when Cody wins imo

“Per sources: An internal email was sent out in WWE and included the line that ‘Paul Levesque [Triple H] will remain WWE’s chief content executive.’ The email was sent by Vince McMahon to those within the company.”
bad timing because at this time its anything but boring. They have had soms great stories in Dom/Rey and everything will the Bloodline/Sami/KO and then have some built up talent like Rhea and Bianca that carry the women and then have a classic match between Gunther/Sheamus/Drew last night. Its the perfect mixture right now although someone like me lost a little bit of interest with the ending of the Main Event. I'll give Raw a shot tonight and see whats setup
Goodness (linked)... *graphic*

Cody Rhodes will team with a “mystery partner” to take on Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa, per WRKD.
That mystery partner probably won’t be either Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn, as WRKD says they’ll be defending their newly won Tag titles tonight.
Cardona would suck. He's annoying as shit. Jay White's okay.
Bron breakker?? He can start off feuding with solo giving Cody a clear path to Roman
Why would they?

if its Jay White he will turn on Cody and start a feud

I really hope so. This kid is going to be special it’s going to be fun watching him develop into a main roster star. He could be HHH’s first real superstar that he creates sitting in the big chair.

That’s possible as well but do they want to give him a title right away? I wouldn’t be against it but who knows what they are thinking. I didn’t realize he was on the ravens roster for a few months as an undrafted fb. He already has his dads power and uncles pre-roid agility and add 4.5 speed
Just saw that RIP. 78 is a long life for someone in his era of pro wrestling
Peacock bought the rights for $1 billion in 2021 for 5 yrs. Its staying for 3 more years
When he said the no title match part I thought for sure it was riddle. This is a surprise
Why do i get the feeling it wont be Brock?
I guess by what I see, there really aren't many compelling story lines (if any) because judging by 100% of the reactions, the writers all got it wrong and made "wrong decisions" ... because the outcome wasn't what you thought it should've been.
yet you guys still keep watching it year after year ... lol

If the sale didnt happen today naming Vince at the top of WWE and this same raw was happening people would be fine

But what’s the point of it? I thought Brock’s deal was up. This raw was a shitty raw after wrestle mania no debuts and the only return was riddle then this meaningless attack from Brock. The only thing that had anything to do with any relevant storylines was the little slights and lies to the USO’s from heyman/Roman which should eventually lead to the bloodline falling apart, and the bad bunny thing leading to backlash. It’s like they hit pause on everything because of the sale thing

I agree wasnt a great raw..
But it sets up Cody having to go through Lesnar with the plot twist of Heyman set it up tk keep the cody vs Reigns intact..
Cody needs someone to feud with before his rematch, this intertwines everything

Wasn’t great? This raw flat out sucked. If heyman set up the swerve fine. Let Cody beat him while he has any legitimacy left before he’s gone for good. Other than that the only story to move at all was Rey and bad bunny. I don’t think I’m going out on a limb here but if he wasn’t already in town for mania and promoting backlash in Puerto Rico that probably wouldn’t have gone down tonight either. It was basically 3 hours of patting themselves on the back and playing patty cake
Just have some damned purpose is what I’m saying. I don’t even care if all the results were not what I’d like or want as long as it had a reason a story to tell.
Nope we get riddle beating up miz when everyone including snoop dogg beats him up lately yippee

quite obvious by how boring a Raw after Mania it was. Guess Im back to just watching highlights before the PPV's to catch up
