UConn has looked dominant but Miam is pesky and hangs around. They have the backcourt experience and if Omeir can somewhat neutralize Sanogo, this could be closer than people think.
Looking forward to 2 entertaining games but ultimstely I see a UConn vs SDSU championship.
masters from FAU and when I lived in Miami I used to cheer on the Hurricanes so it's pretty obvious who I would love to see play on Monday night. If it does come down to FAU vs. Miami, I will cheer on FAU as I am far removed from Miami and was at the FAU campus just last month.

They have been the dominant team in this year's tournament. They have yet to be challenged. I think FAU will get handled today. They are running into a ferocious San Diego State Aztec defense.

As a board member and alum, the FAU population and Boca overall is going crazy over this. And May signed an extension which lots assumed he would bolt after this run. The team was on an upward trajectory in the back half of last season but no one obviously expected anything remotely close to this.
Heading out to one of the watch parties soon, they've got about 20 going on between Boca and neighboring towns.
I had really hoped to go to Houston for the doubleheader but since both Miami and FAU made it, the flights out of Miami,.Lauderdale and Palm Beach were absolutely insane. $1200 for flights and didn't even get in time for the game. Even Orlando and Ft Myers we're $600.
sucked that last 6 minutes or so. Missed FTs, gave up too many Offensive Rebounds, had almost no rhythm on offense...and still almost won.
Was not impressed with either team tonight. They were gassed. I think whoever wins UConn/Miami will be your Tournament winner.
I agree the lack of boxing out was infuriating.but they made their free throws. The refs got way too involved. Way too much effort in the end to even out the fouls. The clean block one of them. FAU outplayed SdSU all game and lost. That's on the refs
Very entertaining run, and the win over Alabama was awesome, but the other wins were Charleston, Furman, Creighton, and FAU. Let’s not crown them just yet.

I think SDSU has been very impressive. Creighton was a very good team, who had regular season wins over both UConn and Xavier, and had beaten #3 seed Baylor in the tournament. Charleston was the "trendy cinderella pick" at the beginning, and of course Alabama was #1 and beat almost everyone. I wouldn't diss what SDSU has done
