currently have a logo. Their "logo" is a cartoon picture of the plain orange/brown helmet. Even Penn State with their plain uniforms has an actual logo. That said, non of these are that appealing IMO. The bottom right is my favorite but they all kind of suck.
It's a representation of one guy's (Paul Brown) big ego, I suppose. Brown seemed like an asshole by some accounts. He allegedly tried to blackball Bill Walsh from getting an NFL head coaching job for some reason.

He did. Douchey move on his part. None of thee guys are necessarily decent people. Walsh was a cheat, as Parcells pointed out to him whenever the Niners' headsets mysteriously went out whenever they played other teams, but he tried to help the game a great deal. I have his book.
the way the Browns play they should use this instead
...that sportswriters gave him, almost like a college professor, but he was a rough and tumble competitor who employed the scummiest coach to ever set foot on an NFL sideline, Bobb McKittrick.

The leg whipping technique he coached that is now against the rules because of the injuries it caused was pretty "Bush". Walsh always referred to these as "envelope pushing" or "on the edge" - come on, man.

Exactly! The whole St. Bill aura was such bullshit. Phony bastard.
I have relatives in Ohio & I have a soft spot for the Browns considering their tortured post 1964 history/Modell aspect. That said, I can't root for Watson.

I have Cleveland roots and moved there last year. Lots of Browns fans among my cousins. But the biggest Browns fan in the family hates the Dog Pound. Says he sat there once and it was a bunch of drunken idiots.
"gets"
That is too good for the Browns. It should be a police dog with a I hate sex predators vest on.
or
Is that how they came up with the ludicrous leprechaun logo? If so they need to stop letting the fans decide
stupid name to begin with...The Browns
Thanks, this makes much more sense

All day long. That’s it as far as I’m concerned.

That was the Browns original logo from 1946, and I think it may have carried forward into the 1970s.
Winner!

The bottom left reminds me of the duck hunt dog
LOL ... you're right!!!
I think the Duck Hunt dog was like a basset hound or whatever the hell they're called. A pointer would make more sense, could be that.

Wow you are dead on with that comparison. Maybe it was subliminally in my head. I can see him laughing now and that’s all I see.

I would probably go with that one or top middle
