(Haven't been on the site much this week, so if this has been posted, let me know and I'll ditch it.)
I enjoyed his overview of where the Giants stand with so many additions. Who knows if he's right, but I'll have what he's having. I like his SUPER-excited outlook.

I think we win 9-11 games
Pessimists out in force.
Maybe not Tampa, lol. It's not so much did you get better, it's how much did you get better relative to the other 31 teams, especially those in your division.
The Giants did really well all things considered but that doesn't mean they will improve on their season results next season, of course. I hope they do! But it all comes down to the play of Daniel Jones, if he can make that next leap, if they can get improvements out of some of the young players, and can they stay relatively healthy.
Hard to win in the league but I do like what Schoen as done with this team.
+1.
Said that a few months ago.
We are no longer a ‘surprise’ team, and our competition is tougher. We could go 8-9 and be a better team than ‘22. And the schedule dates/times, sucks.
McVay turned things around in year 1, inheriting a 4-12 team and going to the Playoffs (losing Wild Card weekend). McVay was named Coach of the Year.
Daboll inherited a 4-13 team, winning a road Playoff game year 1, and being named Coach of the Year.
McVay would go on to win a ring, and go to 2 Super Bowls in the next 4 years. Let's hope that professional gambler's opinion continues to hold up.

2 reasons for optimism that don't include offseason additions.
1)We played a tremendous amount of first and second year players a year ago.
2)The Giants specifically, we among the hardest hit teams in the league with regards to injuries(yet again).
So, there are young players(many rookies) that will be heading into year 2(2nd year players going into year 3). We don't know how much better the Giants could have been a year ago had they fared better on the injury front. We may get hammered again on the injury front..but if we don't...that alone could be an area where the Giants gain on their peers. Philly in particular was a heavily veteran team, we were playing a bunch of kids. The point being, our team compared to theirs had much more room for growth.(How much growth takes place remains to be seen).

If you ask all 31 other fan-bases they will feel like their team got better this year.

Also, Philly vs NY with regards to injuries was night and day. They lived a charmed life a year ago.
Sadly, I agree with this. Hope we're wrong and they get the required Ws ... that playoff run and playoff win was a lot of fun. I could use me some more of that!
