I know we haven't even reached MDW, but FA-for the most part-is in the books & we're post draft so...who you liking in that division?
I'd go Detroit, based on how they finished last season, including that ass kicking they gave us at MetLife. I think Chicago is still a year or two away & I still have ?s about Fields as a QB/passer. I have no clue how good Jordan Love is so I can't take the Packers. The one game I really seen of Love-@ KC in '21-he sucked, but that's a small sample size obviously. Perhaps he's great, but he's a complete unknown to me. & then the Vikes...they were one of the most fraudulent 13 win teams in NFL history last year. I believe they had a negative point differential too. They scream 'Taking a step back' to me.
What say you?
Detroit likely starts 0-1, but wins the division at 9-8, maybe 10-7 though Minny should be around there too.
I don't think Minn has improved their defense much if at all, aside from getting Flores as DC. Both teams play NFC west and south. Lions get the Ravens and Dallas. Vikes get SF and the Bengals. If i had to choose right now, I'll take the Lions side of that one. It should be a tight division race though.
I was surprised Chicago went the direction they did at QB and that is one to watch imv.
A guy who will not help this year but could end up being the best pick of the draft - Hooker.

Who knows for sure if the guys will fit in? I think they can help win more than two games :)
Lol. Talk about a hot take.
Yes, I will go with the Lions. It is a well put together team that is ascending.

Detroit is the "hot take" pick. I'll take Cousins and JJ over whatever Detroit throws out there before they crash and burn with their gimmicky coach...

In case you need the term "hot take" defined.... it's when the "majority of people agree on something that appears to be trending." The Lions are the quintessential definition of the term "hot take." What have the Lions done to have EVERYONE on this board pick them. Until proven otherwise... they are "The Lions." And yes... the hot take is picking them over the Vikings.

Nope
The Lions had a top 5 offense and a defense that got increasingly better as the season wore on. Goff played better, too. Their supporting cast is very interesting and sure, the Vikings have a good group at WR and a very good TE, but their line is inconsistent and their defense did not get any better in FA or the draft.
I see DET winning it and winning ten games. I do see Green Bay being solid too. Bears, I guess it depends on how much Fields improves. He was a great scrambler last year but terrible throwing. What level can he get to this year with the addition of Moore? I like Moore but he's been wasted by bad QB play.
