have had instances where I could not find the game on prime. It wouldn't display on the front page anywhere and searching for it only pulled up prior games still available to stream. Because fuck prime that's why.
I am unable to open my Amazon Prime App on my Samsung Smart TV. I use optimum cable.. Anyone having same issues? Was unable to watch game last night and still appears not to open.

Your comment reminded me that Amazon Prime Video is a SERVICE;
and like all services (eg dining out, plumbing, medical,...) there is good SERVICE and there is bad SERVICE, and this service can occur at any time or place of the day.
It's Yes. I have MLB TV and Prime but I can't ever watch a Yankee game on them without a VPN to trick them.
And....at least as of a few weeks ago, I couldn't get them on Yes, even subscribed (same non-local area issue). I'm yet to find any legit non NY-metro way to watch at any price, other than an occasional national game.
if you pay for Yes they sold you a bill of goods years back that you'd get virtually every Yankees game and any game not on Yes was on free TV. So basically if you get Yes, you're covered. Now that is no longer that case so the YES product, and cable subscription as well, is a lesser product. Of course the price goes up.
Why can't YES keep the Yankees game on as well even if it is on Prime? Greedy fucks.
is available as part of the MLBTV package if you live outside the NY area. I don't know why you have issues with this.
From MLB:
Out-of-Market Blackout: All Yankees on YES games streamed live will be blacked out outside of the Yankees' home television territory and will not be accessible if you attempt to access them from outside of such territory. If a game is blacked out in an area, it is not available for live game viewing. These blackout restrictions apply regardless of whether the New York Yankees are playing at home or away.

With HBart on this one. No problem getting the Yankee games out of market on MLB.TV. The only games that seem to be blacked out seem to be those on national broadcasts.
For me, in Virginia, the only games blacked out on MLB TV
are when they play in Baltimore. Which is kind of funny because there are virtually no Orioles fans in central VA, yet this is still considered part of their market.
But it was most definitely on prime. I try not to even watch when any of these games are on prime but caved.
MD no good.
Thanks Bezos

The feed was absolutely atrocious. I felt like I was trying to watch using AOL dialup. It was brutal.
But hey, this is the “progress” everyone seems to have been wanting.

and the feed fucking sucked. And it's not my intern et connection as I am on FIOS and it's ethernet connected.

Yea and whatever you do, use the pause feature at your own peril. Pause actually means exit out/in and lose about 10 minutes of viewing.

Thankfully there's no shortage of pirate streams.

They’ve had one of, if not the worst app in the business. The interface makes no sense, it’s a jumbled mess.
+1 here in FL.
