Giants DE Nick Williams to the Chargers

a one year deal for the 33 year old 5T.

In the several games he started to open the Giants season, he was productive.

Wish him luck, as the Giants have found younger replacements.

I would bring him back to add competition. Dude did a solid job last year as a fill in.

He played well enough last year to earn more than the vet minimum.
I’m guessing when injuries hit, he will get a deal he’s happier with. I’m sure he wants more than a one year deal.

curious to see what team gives DJ Fluker a shot.

I know he is 32, but it is unbelievable the work he has put in during the past year to get another shot in the NFL.

Every team is always looking for ways to improve the OL.

My read was his production dipped when AJ went out and instead of covering the WR#2's he had to step up and cover the #1's....and he aint a #1 CB. Could be wrong, but that was how I saw it. I thought he did at least a decent job as a #2.

Good depth piece and there was a noticeable dropoff in the quality of our DL rotation once he went on IR. Nice family, too.

We upgraded with Nacho and A'Shawn but Williams is a serviceable vet.
