Would-do: If Malik Willis were available, might make room for him. Otherwise, just carry two.
RB (3): Barkley, Gray, Breida
They cut Brightwell.
WR (6 or 7): Slayton, Campbell, Hodgins, Hyatt, W. Robinson (assumed healthy), Johnson.
Bobby adds Eric Smith. They agree Shepard is a tough cut and only makes it if he's fully healthy and others are injured.
TE (3 or 4): Waller, Bellinger, Myarick. Justin adds Cager and carries 4, would cut Myarick if limited to 3 TEs.
OL (9): Thomas, Neal, Phillips, Ezeudu, Bredson, Glowinski, Schmitz, McKethan. Bobby keeps Lemieux and makes him the backup center; Justin keeps Hamilton as OL9.
EDGE (4 or 5): Thibodeaux, Ojulari, Ward, Baldonado. Justin adds Fox.
DT (5): Lawrence, L.Williams, An.Robinson, Nunez-Roches. They lean toward Riley as DT5, but it's a competition with Davidson. Anderson is out.
ILB (5 or 6): Okereke, McFadden, Beavers, Davis, Brown (for STs). Bobby also adds Coughlin for specials. They note that Davis could be beaten out by D.Johnson or a late addition.
CB (6 or 7): Jackson, Banks, Flott, Aa.Robinson, Hawkins, Oruwariye. Justin adds McCloud for versatility. Both cut Holmes because of cap hit and system fit. (Pay cut might be an option, like Slayton in 2022.)
S (5): McKinney, Owens, Belton, McCain, Pinnock. (Five is heavy, but they bring different skill sets.)
ST (3): Gillan, Gano, Kreiter. Crowder (PR), Gray (KR) returns kicks. Smith, Brown, and Coughlin are listed elsewhere
Last three out:
Bobby - Holmes, Shepard, McCloud (narrowly over Peart)
Justin - Shepard, Lemieux, Holmes
Last three in:
Bobby: Lemieux, Oruwariye, Davis
Justin: Cager, Crowder, McCloud
The only place where I question their logic is Myarick over Sweeney. I don't know who's better, and would be fine with neither making it. My question would be: if the team doesn't see Sweeney as an upgrade over Myarick, why sign him? Just as insurance? He's not exactly a model of durability.
What picks do you think Brieda would command? A conditional 7th? He's a decent backup RB, but most teams have their own Brieda in some form or another.
Well...except for predicting the Elerson Smith is ready to dominate!
Skinner sees Darnay Holmes as a decent player who simply isn't a fit for any role in Martindale's defense. His view is that slot corner should come down to Flott vs. Robinson, which is interesting since they are so different physically.
Anyway, I can see letting Holmes go. He might be an OK player, but he's a penalty waiting to happen.
Myarick? Sweeney? What's the difference? It's funny though. When reporters evaluate players like this the first thing they mention are receptions and yards. If either of them make the team it's because they are a couple of biscuits short of being a guard.
You probably mean Ryder Anderson.
IIRC, Ryan Anderson (the linebacker) got caught juicing and never played a game for the Giants. There was another Ryan Anderson in camp a couple of years earlier, a punter from Rutgers. He's currently pursuing an opportunity with the Bears.
Their take on Brightwell is that there are only so many carries to go around, and Gray is both a roster lock and an upgrade. Brightwell's best chance might be an injury to Breida, which isn't a bad bet.

Smith is no Jonas Seawright though

I think it's a little too early to be making roster predictions. It's a fun exercise, and every podcaster/content-creator has to fill time anyway, but I'd like to see what transpires over the Spring and Summer before I make my own predictions.

Sure, but then, who is?
The legend lives on from the Meadowlands on down,
Of the big kid they call Jonas Seawright.
The kid it is said can't be blocked or stay fed,
And with him at DT we'll be alright...
Soon Lewis was gone. Then Spagnuolo came on
and said "Jonas, it's been good to know ya."
My prediction: the Giants keep Holmes and work him into the Julian Love role. That takes one season but that’s why McCain is there.
I think he has more value than Breida

Ryan Anderson put on a good amount of weight since last season. I'd like to see how that translates before cutting him.
You probably mean Ryder Anderson.
Yes, I meant Ryder. I usually just call him Ry, so I forgot :)

Whatever you call him, I think there's a good chance he sticks, especially if the reports are true and he has bulked up.
Saskatchewan will have to wait -they were able to draft him in the CFL International draft because he was born in Italy.
Chase Claypool lite makes the 53
Can't say you're wrong. Looking forward to seeing this guy in action.
Campbell, Slayton, Hodgins, and Hyatt are on the team, barring injury. Robinson is the fifth, unless he starts the season on PUP, in which case Crowder and Shepard are alternatives and/or complements. Smith has a good chance to make it for specials. And even if those heavy seas somehow part for him, Ford-Wheaton still has to pass Johnson, Sills, and three WRs from last year’s PS whom Groh liked enough to bring back.
Maybe Ford-Wheaton will make some plays in preseason against scrub DBs. He’s still more likely to wind up like Corey Washington than Victor Cruz. And even Cruz didn’t play as a rookie.

Daboll may be more comfortable playing rookies, in general, than Coughlin was
