did the Giants delete the original Giants Life that just came out and re-post it? If so, I wonder what they edited out.

to Schoen talk about relationships around the league and "how important it is for someone to pick up the phone," I think back to Gettleman who admitted he wouldn't even answer the phone during the Barkley draft.
I started listening to this yesterday

but if you listen closely, P-Dot is not actually interviewing Schoen.

The Giants just took recorded comments that Schoen had already made and inserted Dottino's "questions" in front of the comments, to make it appear like an interview.

Yes, pretty weird. I can still access the original upload on YouTube, though. Just from a casual glance, they seem to be the same.

Yes. And pieces of this were put in the Giants Life video. But there is additional stuff here, including on Hyatt, who he admits wasn't on their radar until the Alabama game.

Something is up because my YouTube feed is saying I didn't watch the version that is up there now.

Good thing Schoen made it to that game.
The whole thing is weird.

I listened to Giant Huddle first. It was very much cut as a real interview. There even a section where Schoen gives a few words only about day 3 picks.

Then I watch the Video and it’s exactly the same JS audio without PDot. Why cut huddle as an interview if it’s not?

Not sure if the videos are different.
It was a complete cut-and-paste

from the Process video. P-Dot just tees up questions that fit the answers.

Schoen is probably already tired of that stupid P-dot head nod every time he asks a question so now they have to patch P-dot into the interview to save Schoen from having to actually talk to him.
They should do this with every Dottino "interview"

Only way for him to appear competent.
My guess is “the process” video
Jarvis : 5/19/2023 1:42 pm : link
Actually came from the PD interview, not the other way around.

That was my impression as well, i.e., they filmed a sit-down interview with Dottino and cut out the parts with Dottino asking the questions for the video.

I have to admit, I was originally against drafting Barkley (RB, from Penn State no less, at #2?), but allowed myself to accept it. But in retrospect, trading down was probably clearly the optimal thing to do.

DG not even listening, makes me think, clown show, bro. Glad that shit is over.

Eric from BBI : Admin : 5/19/2023 2:34 pm : link
there are things in this interview that are not in The Process video.

What surprised me most about Schoen and the draft
Vanzetti : 5/19/2023 3:01 pm : link
was that he made it clear that he reads and takes into consideration mock drafts.

I'm sure all GMs look at them but I have never heard one admit it. DG openly mocked mocks.

Schoen was just matter of fact about it. Almost like, "Why wouldn't i look and see what others thought about guys I might be considering."

. I get the idea they do that to help them prepare for any scenario. They do a lot of —what would we do in this situation, how would we handle it none of these guys are there, etc. I think they use the drafts in that way to help build different scenarios to train on.
