Different strokes but I think he’s really good. I’d take him every day over Kay.
Kay comes off as a pompous ass to me almost like an entitled snob, but RR brings a genuine enthusiasm to his calls. He also knows his stuff but doesn’t smack you over the head with it like Kay.

Agreed. I’m warming to Ruocco, mostly bc he’s not that insufferable twit Michael Kay
That’s how Tampa built their big early lead. They’re something like 19-2 against sub-.500 teams.
Keep winning and they should be in good position once they start getting more guys back from injuries. Rodon is still throwing with no setbacks. Cross your fingers.

the big guy back in the lineup showing why he's the MVP.
Like Ruocco alot, can't stand Kay.
The kid filling for Sterling on the radio is really good. Only problem is that that blithering twit Waldman seems to think she has to talk non stop with Sterling out. SHe has to go.
and this nonsense would go away with the umpires, including checks very inning. That is not what fans pay to see.
They have a tackier baseball in Japan for example, although the ball itself is slightly smaller. just do it MLB!
Starting next season would be nice...
Good to keep it going against the Reds, that team is only slightly better than the A's. Going to miss the Sunday game on
Peacock, what a joke that is with 11:00 games...

Ruocco is a little too syrupy for me, although I don't love Kay either. Kay is making a lot of mistakes this year.
Those "See Ya" home run calls are like fingernails on a blackboard. They need to hand Paul O'Neill a blank check and have him work all the games in order to make Kay a little bit less insufferable.
Reds
But I will say the OF TV camera is awful. Must be in mid LC - angle is so severe.
MLB better get their shit together.
Ryan Ruocco is a BBI fav..

With how many times Judge gets umped every season, I’ll take a call a couple inches off the plate in our favor anytime

And that 2 out, 2 RBI, double is why Higgy should be in MLB!

Higgy should not be in MLB. He is a terrible hitter. Swings at three bad pitches with 2nd and 3rd 1 out.

+1. …..Admittedly, he looked like walrus manure on that K, but Higgy continues to have big hits when you least expect it.

I prefer Kay ver Rucco. To each it’s own.

I long for the days of Frank Messer and Bill White.
But the Yankees won so that's the main thing.
