I think you are way off on your assessment of the FO and what they think of Barkley. We also don’t have a single RB on the roster that you can pencil in for a full seasons worth of carries.
It’s one thing to not want to pay Barkley, it’s another to say we will be fine without him, let alone excel. There’s nothing to support it.
