Brian Daboll said Saquon Barkley's contract situation is between Saquon and the organization, so he's going to reserve comment until that plays out.
Barkley has not signed the franchise tag, so he won't be here for voluntary OTAs.

I don't think there is an actual definition for the status of a player who gets cut. I could see them cutting a player from a really deep position group before they cut someone from a shallow group, even though the guy cut might be a better player. I just love the red herrings on this site. Did I say anywhere that I care about the players from 81-90?

Wil have more updates from today’s OTA later. Most notable development was WR David Sills leaving with an apparent rib injury after landing hard on a deep catch late in practice. Was clearly in a lot of pain.

Giants 1st open OTA practice just wrapped. Wide receiver David Sills got hurt at the end due to a hard landing after making a great leaping catch just outside the right sideline. Looked like his left side/rib area. He did limp off under his own power. More to come
