Elerson Smith tore his Achilles last year?

Please see the bottom of Dunleavy’s practice report from yesterday. I did not see this reported anywhere. I just saw surgery on “nagging bone spur / achilles”.

Unless its a typo - this is news to me and of course not ideal and alot different from the previous reports. Unless I missed it of course. In which case I will delete.

last December, it was tweeted out/reported that he had bone spurs near the Achilles that required surgery.

Two reporters I think mistakenly have reported in the last day that he tore his Achilles.

Unless the original story was false, the reporters are confusing the injury.

The real questions is

I would delete but maybe a beat reporter will see it since its own topic and maybe do their job and clarify at some point.

I wont get my hopes up- too busy talking about Saquon’s contract that he will inevitably sign.

at a 79. He's got talent, but he really hasn't played in what, almost 4 years? When do you pull the plug? That's probably their question. Let's see what he can do this camp. Of course, he's coming off another injury that required surgery. So he is currently rehabbing- again!
