Jack Lummus was killed in the battle of Iwo Jima
And Wellington Mara was in the Navy during WW2

I think it was Lummus who said right before he died, "The Giants lost a mighty good defensive end"
You forgot Tom Landry

this on Memorial Day coincidentally or you are not sure, but Memorial Day is a day to remember those who gave their lives for our country. So, some on your list are appropriate, others not today if that was your intent.

Veterans Day is a day to recognize all those who served.

I don't care if you post this every single day and include the names all those Giants who served in any capacity and give those people their due - it still would not be enough gratitude, but I know a lot of people confuse the meaning of Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

Not too many young guys.
