obvious, non-controversial point, as long as we are talking forward looking. Aaron Rodgers was not good last year. If he reverts to his form from 2 or 3 years ago then he will be much better than DJ even if DJ improves. The Jets bet the farm that last year was the anomaly, and that Rodgers is not cooked. We will see. Father Time is undefeated.

Rodgers is quite younger than Brady, but looks older.
I like Jones. I think the Giants best option by far was to resign him. I think the Jets focusing all their attention on Rodgers and never making a play for Lamar Jackson was baffling.
But that said, I fully expect a fair bit of regression this year from the Giants as a whole. And while I am optimistic about Jones long term, I'd be happier if folks would slow their expectations a bit.
Last year the Giants squeaked into the playoffs with a 9 win record and a truckload of close/flukey wins. This year the hope should be that they make the playoffs again with less flukey wins and standing on more solid ground. I think they are a good long way from contending against the leagues elite.
But just can't. Rodgers is still one of the league's most unique talents and can win any game he's in.
The only clear advantage Jones has is he's a much better teammate. Watching the most recent season of Ted Lasso, I couldn't help but think that Aaron Rodgers is Zava...
I think Rodgers is putting on the 18th hole of his career

Much better athlete.
Currently, as a function of age, sure. But if you're comparing each at their peak athleticism (and TBF, DJ may still have more future improvement available to him while AR does not), the only athletic trait that DJ would be superior to AR would be straight-line top speed, IMO.
You could make a good argument for either one being
And wanted to re-sign him. I think he will have a great year. But AR is the hest QB of the past 20 years when healthy and at peak. He isn't there anymore but I think he had a hand issue last year and is only 1 season removed from MVP. The Jets took a risk but it may be worth taking for them. I don't begrudge them any success unless it comes at the Giants expense.
But Jones hasn't earned that praise -- Rogers is an all-time great.
It's too early to speculate for both: Rogers first time out of GB; Jones is still developing with first-time (quality) coach continuity and (hopefully) a surrounding cast.
I think (usual health caveat) Jones will be a top 10 in everything this season. I have no clue about Rogers.

Jones has also won more playoff games in the last couple of years.
Let's just see how it plays out.
