discussion for 2024 in June 2023 seems a bit silly.
Tons of players will be off the market between now and then.
Yeah, way early. We should have the cash in 2024 ( even if we extend LEO, adoree and saquon) to sign AT long term, keep X if warranted.
If we did all that, still probably can role with a big FA signing or a trade for a Tee Higgins type.
Will we? Depends on how the team progressed ( or didn’t)
is a good listen, but comes off as kind of a dbag.. i still don't get what his credentials are.. he played college ball ? that's it?
Penik is green.. reminds of when i was the program director at my college radio station and the kids that used to come in and want to play DJ.. ugh. cringe.
With all that being said.. they have a formula that seems to work. They have connections and the beat reporters like them. Ranaan has gone on their show a few times. My fav episodes are when they do cross overs with Dan and Nick from Big Blue Banter.
My Rankings:
1 Big Blue Banter
2 Talkin Giants
3 Breaking Big Blue (ranaan podcast)
4 Blue Rush ( Paul Schwartz and Lawrence Tynes)
5 Fireside Giants
6 Bleav in Giants (Papa and Banks)
7 Locked on Giants (Patty Traina, when there is nothing else to listen to.. she pumps out episodes daily.. tough to listen to, some of her guests are bottom tier no names)
I really love the Around the NFL podcast as an alternative. Great content and a more neutral view of the giants to balance out the homerism.
What they think Penik adds. He can talk without saying anything particularly useful.
In theory, pairing a film guy with a numbers guys is a good setup. Unfortunately, Justin tends to rattle off data without providing much insight or explaining significance. He has his moments, though. For example, in discussing Cooper Kupp on this latest podcast, he highlighted some analytics that illustrate the dimension Kupp would add, and why he might be a good fit with Jones.

Gotta fill time somehow.
I only started listening to him the last few weeks or so (for the first time). I like him
I like him when he is reviewing OL play. Penik is annoying to me.
Penik is hard to listen to.

My favorite might be the analytics kid that they show every once in a while who looks like he is turning 12.
apparently he was an OL in college. has a lot of insight about the position.
