people keep speculating that, but I don't think that's going to happen. The owner likes Jax and has invested a lot in the area. Playing in London made sense when the team stunk. Jax is a small mkt., but with a good team and new stadium, I don't think they'll be playing twice a yr in London anymore.
but that video and all that's in it are Miami Vice era Florida weird shite.
My biggest disappointment in the stadium is that we were led to believe it would look like Allianz Stadium and and it is nothing close to that. If the exterior was more appealing, I don't think there would be as many compliants
Plans for a multibillion $ mid-life renovation of MetLife are underway
Backwater state will foot the bill for the billionaire owner. Looks pretty though, much like the pitch for Nashville
You should be banned for stupidity and insensitivity. I've been To Jax many times. It is a very up and coming city. The downtown is not great but the beaches, riverfront and many other areas are quite nice. Ponte Vedra is just to the South. Shad Kahn is doing amazing things there.
Ha ha. Have fun! We're going to be in Utah in Aug.
Avoiding us summer visitors, huh? Can't say I blame you 😂
I've been all around Florida - used to live in the panhandle, spent much time visiting family in south Florida, Orlando, the west coast - and St. Augustine without a doubt is my favorite place in the state.

Exactly!
and I agree about St. Augustine. Love living here.
you would understand if you ever sat in the stands on a hot afternoon in Sept.
A few yrs ago, a buddy of mine who's a big Chiefs fan, came to town and we saw Jax/Chiefs first game of the season. We were on the visitors side which is in the sun all afternoon. Almost had heat stroke.
Jax fans will really appreciate AC in Sept/early Oct.

tell you the truth, I don't mind tourists and it seems that tourist season is almost yr round here. My wife and I were tourists about 22 yrs ago and we chose to live here in a tourist town (kinda makes me feel like I'm on vacation all the time, which isn't necessarily good for my liver).
I wouldn't mind if people stopped moving here, though. Our county is one of the fastest growing in the country. I guess people be seeking the backwater shithole life!
Same, our stadium is the ugliest in the NFL
I dont mean to hate, but that presentation is over-done.

As someone who lives in Fl (St. Augustine), your comment is comical.
Hey Jacksonville has Lynyrd Skynyrd High School entirely made of land-trapped tug boats and Stupid Nick's Wing Dump.

And you sell dirty magazines door to door for class credit

They'd be better off tearing the whole damn thing down and starting over. Total swing and miss...

These stadium building videos are all fluff and they cost the taxpayers tons and almost never deliver on their promises. Billionaire playthings.

Carry on?
You're an idiot.

Love St Augustine! We'll be visiting there again in August
