It's deja vous. Just about everyone under .250 with at least 4 regulars hitting less than .240 and a couple under .200. At what point will they cut ties with Donaldson and at what point, if at all, do they consider sending Volpe down for a bit?
for this play for alleged lack of hustle. Removed him from last night's game and benched him entirely for tonight's game vs Guardians.
Reply commentators on twitter mostly ridiculing Cora, and I agree. With two out, Verdugo didn't think the play would be at second. He stayed on his feet because, if the throw went to first, he's in a better position to react to anything that might happen.
Throw goes to second; Verdugo looks foolish for spectating the play and not sliding, but he wasn't dogging it.
Red Sox blown out tonight 10-3 and will come to Stadium tomorrow night sub-.500 and losers of 8 of 11. And a not too happy clubhouse, I'd imagine.
againsts schlubs. On the other hand Sevy had trouble with these same guys. Hope all the injuries haven't taken its toll on Sevy. Was his velocity good?
It’s unfortunate how Sevy’s tenure with the Yanks has turned out.
It’d be idiotic to bring him back on any type of a multi-year deal. Of course if the Rays gives him an one-year, 10M deal, he’ll win a Cy Young for them.
Vasquez was higher ranked than Brito, he seems to have better control. He just seems more athletic, albeit smallish like most our pitchers.
Will Warren is at AAA. It’s scary Cole may be the only one we can count on next year.
Nice !!! You dog! NJoy!!!
If the game is played, you should be able to - it's a single admission double-header.
On yes, it says tickets for tonight’s game will not be valid for tomorrow’s single admission doubleheader.

so they should win tonight.
Yeah, after losing game 1.
Yep. Didn't say anything about Game 1.
