I mean, I would think he is definitely looking for some sort of role on a new team, if only to set himself up for next winter's head coach hiring season. He's been coaching in the NFL since 1999, so I don't know why he'd need to make these visits just to keep his relationships fresh.
Agreed, that was brutal. His Bills defenses had a history of not closing big games.
