It DOES bother me that he is hanging on the rim when he did nothing for us, gets to win a Super Bowl and then flips off a team he screwed out of being a productive player.
I will go ahead and say it....I hope he gets injured and misses out on a good career.
you all hated him and said he sucked, now he's gone and he said in the video that he's trolling, which just means he's messing with all the NY fans who gave him a bunch of crap.
If you're going to dish it out you should be able to take it without clutching your pearls.
I'll cover this in my TE preview, but I think the acquisition of Waller is one of the most underreported developments league-wide this offseason. It was a huge steal to get someone of his ability for a late-3rd round pick. It's a Philadelphia Eagles-type trade steal.
Looking forward to reading it Eric. Waller and Bellinger together will be very useful in different ways for the NYG. I'm guessing we'll see a lot of 12 personnel this year. Really gonna be interesting how they put guys in motion and use them in the backfield (this Hawkins kid they got in the 6th round is also intriguing at DB).
Kid's electric. It's a shame it didn't work out here. Fun player to watch. I hope for his own sake he gets things straight. He can have a nice career if he does. His choice at the end of the day.
Not sure what is on this video as im not gonna watch but ive said it multiple times before and im gonna say it again now:
I am absolutely convinced that this kid got so butthurt last summer and at multiple other times while he was here when Giants fans were roasting him on social media that he decided then and there that he did not want to play for the Giants and wanted out. Almost like he retired on active duty. I think he is a super sensitive kid who took all that crap to heart, and that was the end of that. He simply can not stand Giants fans. Ill believe that until its proven otherwise.

He caught 14 balls in 7 games for 171 yards and 2 TDs last year in THAT offense. Hes not prime Antonio Brown.

I fully understand. I'm just saying he's talented. It's a shame he's not putting his talents fully to use. In the open field he's amazing, which is why the Eagles aren't SB Champs.
Especially if he doesn’t realize why Giants fans were upset or disappointed with him. But I don’t even care, I’m just glad he was part of denying the Eagles a Super Bowl win.
In the end, the Giants were just asking too much from Toney.
Not every NFL player is going to be able to do things like find cleats that fit, pick up and read the playbook, practice with the team on the field, and be available to play on gameday.
At some point these types of unreasonable expectations need to be tempered.

100%
Nothing to see here. If you are upset by this then the issue is with you.
as I've said before, I will trade Darren Waller for Kadarius Toney any day of the week.
FYI.
You wrote that in reverse order, but I still knew what you meant because I’ve been here before. But someone new might think that you prefer Toney over Waller since you wrote you will trade Waller for Toney.

Yeah sure. The fans being given the finger by an assclown are the bad guys.
Sometimes it is what it is. Not every situation needs a contrarian to try to put everyone in place. I don’t see anyone “upset”, they are simply commenting on a video. The way some of you bend over backwards to make excuses for Toney is one of the strangest things on this site. But thanks for setting us all straight and letting us know WE are the problem!

to say the issue is with Giants fans. High-profile 1st-round pick mysteriously won't practice or play for a year and a half. Fans get frustrated he won't get on the field. He gets traded. Has same issues with KC. Earns Super Bowl ring and decides to tell Giants fans to fuck off. And reacting to this indicates the problem is with us?

OK.
Not kissing the site owner's ass, but that is a pretty perfect summation.
The new regime tried to make amends with KT89. If I'm not mistaken, I think Dabs even had his music blaring @ practice. That doesn't strike me as a dude who hated Kadrius.
The kid's immature. & I bet this was the first time in his football career where someone all but said 'Fuck off' & traded him.
I suspect he'll be out of the league come 2026 or so.
the guy scored a td in the Super Bowl and set up another and got fitted for a World Championship ring. He gets to talk and respond to the NYG fans who pissed on him and continue pissing on him. We may not like it, but he's got the ring, and he was one of the reasons the Chiefs won the championship game.
I think Eric made a mistake by saying he would trade Walller for Toney
I think he meant he would trade Toney for Waller which most would agree.
Lol. He obviously did. This is your second post about it so you’re obviously confused. No one else is. Eric has been very vocal about his feelings about Walker. And Toney. Including in this thread. Are you just looking for him to apologize?
I don't really care. He couldn't get on the field, we dealt him and were able to use that draft capital to get some good prospects and he had a big punt return that helped beat the eagles. That last point is what matters most to me.
Would I rather see Toney's finger in my face or a Philly fans? The answer is simple. That one finger is acceptable to keeping Philly to one SB.
Some of these pro athletes.... they have more money than they can spend in a lifetime, the limelight, the adoration, model wives... and they're still miserable.
You run into all types of competitors, some are classy, some are poor sports, some are complainers and excuse makers and some are trash talkers, the list goes on:
I ve always enjoyed the competition and just learned to accept whatever behavior my opponent displayed win or lose, it s part of the game
He obviously has some bitterness towards the Giants, and for now he gets the last laugh.
Sy's write up on him pre draft that year, there were some MAJOR Red flags on Toney (that he couldn't go into). We never should have gone there, but kudos to our current GM to get someone of Waller's quality for that pick.
The true KT on the NY Football Giants is still here....
Kayvon Thibodeaux is a true 1st round gem, and I'm pretty sure Evan Neal is going to shine like a diamond in his second season.
Toney is nothing but pyrite, and I was thrilled to get rid of him!
"you wanna dollar?"
He landed with the best team in the NFL.
If the Chiefs hadn't been interested and he'd ended up some place like Chicago or Atlanta, he'd find it much harder.
He has an Eli Apple level of maturity.
Toney is a clown... still remains to be seen whether he can stay
healthy and contribute on a consistent basis. That's called professionalism, and thus far, by all accounts, that has escaped him.
But, I couldn't possibly care less about the guy anymore. He was a bust for us, but with the trade he contributed to an(other) Eagles Super Bowl loss, scored us a guy who has a legitimate claim to be a top 3 receiving threat at TE (when healthy) and a CB who looks like he can contribute as a rookie.
Already that is a much better return than some of our more recent 1st round busts... Baker, Apple, Flowers, etc. So, you take the good with the bad.
but I am sure I am not the first one to say or think that
I would rather see the ring on Kardarius's middle finger than on any finger of an Eagles player and I think that goes for our organization as well. But carry on KT.
You know he's not talking to the Giants, right? He's talking to the fans that talked shit about him. I don't blame him really. When he was traded, mad people talked shit. Mad people. I'm not saying anything about the trade, but the kid has talent. Andy Reid had the luxury of coaching him up. It still remains to be seen if he takes a step up in that offense, but if he does, I'm happy for him. But yeah, when he was traded, a good number of fans were calling him trash, stupid, lazy, a moron, whatever. He's just clapping back in the easiest way possible. I'd do the same.

I think he’s just an asshole. At what point does immaturity become a character flaw/issue? My guess is this guy is who he is now and for ever. We will see I guess

Time to move on, for both parties.

My views on Waller and Toney are both well known.
Waller is a massive upgrade over Kadarius. Now let's cross our fingers over the former's health.
I was real high on him coming out of UF, but I guess I must have just been high.

Still dying to know, why Giants gave up on him after one year.
