He struggles against fast defenses. When the game gets fast, you see it with Jones. The OL has been bad, but it's not all that. He's made some very poor throws.

Yeah the Oline hasn't been that bad...................

He definitely needs to overcome adversity. And take advantage of opportunities when available. But nothing is going right at this point. It's like falling out of airplane and the parachute won't open...
for Thomas the Ol is really bad, especially Neal. He clearly doesn't have the feet to play tackle, but Bredeson, Schmitz, and Glowinski were also bad. The OL will likely be a problem all season.
I'd like to see Ezeudu and McKethan in the second half, and although I can't believe I'm saying this, Peart. Neal should be benched.
Schoen improved the team speed everywhere except on the OL.
We also aren't generating any pass rush.
This game is still won in the trenches, and we are losing there on both sides of the ball.
Daboll is going to have to get their attention after this one. If they happen to drop a game next week to the Cards it’s off to San Fran on short rest.
This operation is going nowhere until they can beat Dallas and Philadelphia. What pisses me off is fucking Washington stumbles into wins every now and again vs those guys. With us it’s a 100% lead pipe lock loss.

The OL has been horrid.
It has.
Doesn’t excuse a QB from awful decision making and turnovers. QBs can’t melt under adversity like Jones seems to do sometimes.
Jones doesn’t get absolved from this. He’s been terrible tonight too.

Of course it has. But that doesn't excuse the awful pick which was thrown which led to a Dallas TD.

Then Schoen had better be looking at the top college qb’s this fall. Jones, who is being paid like he’s the answer, isn’t.
RE: Jones has zero time, he's running from the minute he gets the snap
but I'm not going to read much into it. The pass protection is abysmal, the weather is bad, and he was allowed to play a total of what, three drives in the entire preseason?
think Jones is rattled, which isn't surprising given that he's running for his life as soon as he touches the ball on every pass play. His OL is a sieve. He's desperate to make something happen as the QB and so is pressing.

Are we really pinning the first INT on Jones? Barkley wasn't touched by God, he was touched by the top of a helmet.

Come on. That first INT clearly wasn't on Jones. It was the 2nd one. That was a horrific decision. That should be clear. The ensuing drive led to a Dallas TD.

Jerry Reese isn't only a 2 time championship, he's a mother f'n witch doctor.

At hitting guys going across the field in stride. We just saw it there on that pass to Hyatt.
I agree. His long pass is decent and sideline is ok but his timing is at best erratic to guys moving across the field
Which is unfortunate because the horizontal passing game sure seems like a Daboll staple.

with the drop, although the pass was behind him.
And then Jones is sacked again.
Not a great pass...
He has played WR his whole life got to catch that ball..no excuses...
Toney was lambasted for dropping a much harder ball that Hyatt’s drop

Possible factor
The only thing to keep an eye on is if the Eagles figured something out and the Cowboys picked up on it and other teams also pick up on it.

It’s a drop….
He is an nfl wr and it him in hands. It’s a drop…

How about the beautiful interception? Was that the fans fault?

He dropped a bad pass.
Yup.
He came up limping after the sideline PBU

Commanders have a hellish front 7 on defense too. Giants have an ugly talent discrepancy in their own division.
Plus a million!

geez, it's one game and any team can have a bad game. You are never as bad as you look when you lose and never as good as you look when you win.

Honestly, the only reason we beat the Commanders is because we have their number. On paper they should gouge us a new one with that line.
Down 26-0 to Cowboys at half.
True..excellent point
No kidding.

Pick any Giants oline from 2013 on and that line fits
