Jones having a bad night. He is sucking wind for sure. But, He is rattled and I don't blame him. This OL is fucking putrid again. I knew this OL would be our downfall this year. So tired of it. And Daboll should have played the starters more in preseason. They are clearly not even close to ready.
Jones got 80M+ dollars because he was smart and ultra-accurate with the ball last year.
It's not too much to expect him to do what he did last year.
The line was putrid last year and Jones kept his head above water. He's got to do it again.
Jones has about 1 second to throw on every snap. None of this is on him. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot and doesn’t understand how football works.
These posts are so ridiculous. The 2nd pick was on Jones. Because the OL sucks it allows him to make unforced errors? That is such bullshit.
Don't remind the forum. That's gonna be a beat down against that defensive front. People will see soon why fans wanted to play Minnesota in the playoffs and not Frisco.
RE: Let's face it the Giants don't want to be here
and they're less competitive than last year. wtaf?
I know it doesn't make much sense. The on;y thing I can think of is, you can't make it in the NFL without an Oline, and the Giants just ignored it for to long.
this point, I'd expect effort to be lacking. Everyone just wants the game to be over and not get hurt. We completely embarrassed.
Like everyone else, I just don't understand why after 10 plus years we still don't even have a decent OL. Other teams rebuild their OL in a few years, but for us, the task is apparently impossible.
The reduced preseason and inability to run vigorous practices is hurting the league. Some teams seem to come out better than others, but the last few years when you look across the league you see a lot of rust the first 2-3 weeks.
This is how I’m trying to look at it. Week 1, weird shit happens
The fear I have is that Schoen was a rookie GM was still working with DG's leftover scouts as he couldn't fire everybody.
Lol. Schoen was relying on the work of a bad GM who was canned, while not doing his own work? If true, he should be fired immediately, but that’s a ridiculous theory
As for that second INT, he was desperate, running for his life and trying to make something happen.
Agreed.
There was also that interception that hooker dropped.. And other bad passes..
Maybe at some point we get him an OLine so we can see if he is an NFL qb. Sorry, might not be his fault but he is still a mediocre qb. Do you believe you win championships with him? Anyway. It’s not the time.

Speaking of idiots who don't understand how football works, what's your take on Evan Neal tonight?

He wasn't working with DG's work, but he was working with a lot of DG's scouts. You can't exactly scout college games if you're hired in January and it's too late to literally fire everybody.
It's why you often see scouts let go AFTER drafts.
keep talking about OL, but I have major concerns with our secondary and coverage on defense holding up. If Ojulari and Thibs don’t sustain better one on one pressures so Wink doesn’t blitz like crazy all the time, this defense won’t holdup.
They need to get #73 off the TV.
Daniel Jones needs to pay his fucking contract back. This is just embarrassing. Going to be another LONG season 0-4 vs eagles and cowboys easily.
Or else we’ll be in a familiar spot: season over by Columbus Day and we’re talking draft..nobody wants that shit again..
Next week is a must win.
Thursday night against the miners to avoid 0 and 3. Not good place to be.
This is why I said must win. That SF game is about as lock of a sure L as there is on the schedule. We lose next week it’s over. Still have 3 losses beyond that with Dallas/Philly.

I don't know if we can properly evaluate the defense given the hole they were in when they finally took the field.

Just like the Playoff game.
It’s a disturbing trend.
These lopsided blowouts are more than talent.
If that happens, Schoen and Daboll would probably both be on the hot seat for 2024.

We do lose spectacularly dont we?
or
Is it a lack of coaching?
Which division opponent can this team beat?
We can’t even attempt a FG without looking bad.
Speaking of idiots who don't understand how football works, what's your take on Evan Neal tonight?
and this defense looks as porous as last year.

But they are being torched in terms of preparation for this game.
Completely unprepared for this game. And they knew they were going to play Dallas since May. That's not good.
I mean in a very loose, broad sense yes. But not in any meaningful way.
Everyone should be embarrassed.
