just wanted to play, didn't matter whether it was guard or tackle. Doesn't look like he's a tackle. There has to be someone we can replace him with and slide him inside.
transition to guard for Neal won't happen this year. It would have to wait until the offseason. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't have been benched no later than halftime. I would have put in Peart. He can't be any worse (no one could) and it tells Neal that his play is unacceptable.
Many of us knew the guards needed an upgrade this coming off-season. Adding a RT as well only extends the process of getting this fucking OL corrected once and for all. Neal has to be an answer.
I think Neal is too tall with too high a center of gravity

1- Taking draft position into account, Schoen's first 2 picks, Thibs and Neal, may be his worst so far. Have they looked at Neal at RG at all, maybe there's a way to salvage him. Is Bobby Johnson really an OL guru? Who has he made better?
2- Adoree Jackson was horrible in the slot tonight. Couldn'td cover anyone and got washed out on run plays. When Banks went out they replaced him with McCloud. Why not replace him with AJ and put Holmes in the slot?
3-There is a real chance that we will need to acquire 3 starters on the OL for next season, and that is with giving JMS the benefit of the doubt
4-We are not as bad as we look tonight. But we are also not a threat to win the SB this year.

I guess no cigars for Dabs tonight.
He should be embarrassed by this display.
Hopefully he has a nice bed at Quest as he should spend the week there trying to correct this debacle.
exactly. 80-0 costs the same as 21-20. I feel bad for the guy who had to load the TOUCHDOWN FIREWORKS silos in the rain before the game. I think Nathaniel Hackett called him "the fucker."
I can accept him being a 6th pick but not an all pro. but, this bad?
The players suck
Cramps
They've done nothing well. All phases of the game imploded.
Next week. If the Giants fall to the Cards that's a bad sign for the season.

Who is that "someone"?
more like Hobson's choice
What stuns me os how impotent our DL is. Our edge looks like theirs on slow motion with skirts. Our interior guys are getting manhandled too.
Unprepared for Dallas's intensity too was also very surprising. First time in Daboll era I feel like we've been outcoached, and by miles.
Yup
