Gettleman did not want Toney at #20. Toney was a Judge pick. Gettleman apparently wanted Darrisaw. The question is whether he wanted the trade with Chicago, which made drafting Parsons impossible.
You're not wrong. I just hope the Giants don't go winless this regular season again against the Cowboys and Eagles. The only two games that I think they can win are this one and the last one of the season (the Eagles might not have anything to play for then).

I get the feeling Gettleman made that trade since Chicago clearly offered more than a ham sandwich. He just wouldn't have drafted Toney.

all knew the interior of our OL was a big question mark, especially when Ezeudu in his second year couldn't seize the starting job from Bredeson. Glowinski is an aging veteran, and Schmitz is a rookie. And as someone said, it looks like we're still having trouble picking up stunts. The "hallmarks" of this team are showing up again: bad OL and bad ST.
The difference between Thibs and Parsons is noticeable.
I think it was Judge and O'Brien who wanted Toney, not Gettleman. Those two dummies won out over DG.

Another year getting swept by Dallas…
Sometime the other team is better.
The Giants are on the right path
It's been all the time the last few years. It gets old. Even Washington beats Dallas and Philly every now and then.
This is why I'm constantly a Debbie downer. Hype is imaginary. Show me actual evidence one of these years...
that was a judge pick
Exactly. See what a good offensive line can do?!
Doesn't that feel really familiar?
I'm not a "same old Giants" guy but I'd like to see a different script.
I’m getting 1995 vibes

Team looks disjointed and out of sorts.

Gettleman did not want him but he wanted Toney.
that was a judge pick
Yep, from what I understanr, Judge wanted Toney
If it’s not called it must be legal.

Yeah X looks a lot more comfortable as the box and blitz safety.

I’m with you 💯
This game isn’t over as well!!!
Defense did ok. My biggest concern was the rookie Cns against the vet WRs. So far they have done well, Jackson got picked on the play to lamb.
Offense and ST has been shite though. They look like they are running drills in iractice

Yes. And generally in primetime against Cowboys or Eagles.
Could have been called. Wasn't.
Commanders were called today for marginal contact. That was a full block.
