Made me think he missed time hurt, but looking at the list there are no other CB's that got playing time. Did Arizona play a lot of 2 wr sets, with Giants matching with Banks and Jackson? Or did Hawkins get hurt and they slide Jackson over and one of the listed safeties play the slot???
I was wondering if the coaching staff didn't activate him and get him in because he's an Arizona native, played at Arizona State etc...
Its the only reason I could think of because Riley has played better than him.
Another possibility is that with the quick turnaround they figured it would be better to have Riley fresh for Thursday and that they wouldn't "need" him against Arizona, and it gave Davidson reps before San Fran.

Interesting that Flott didn't even get 1 snap.

When #NYGiants were not in nickel last night, Adoree' Jackson and Tae Banks played the boundary and Tre Hawkins III went to the sideline.
Hawkins still played 41 snaps (61%).
I got the feeling they were getting gashed by the run
I felt the same way, as many of us likely did. However, I will say I was keyed in on him several plays, and in the plays I followed him, he frequently dropped into coverage, on a few instances he was double teamed, a few plays he did a nice job setting the edge on off-tackle runs, and on one glaring snap, I saw him manhandled by Swaim in a pass rushing situation. It is disappointing that we thought that despite passing on Parsons (still inexcusable, more so now than ever actually), we thought we had someone close to being as good. As of right now, Thibodeaux is not a difference maker, and is the primary pass rusher on the only team in the NFL without a sack. I'm not giving up on him yet, some pass rushers take a little longer to develop, but year 2, I was expecting to see much more than we've seen through 2 weeks.

Yes, I'm sure he was, I'm just referring to snaps I keyed in on KT, just to be clear. I want to see more from him, but my point in my post was simply that there is more to the story than what the stat sheet shows or doesn't show.

and played like a pile of feathers for 3 quarters.
Need bigger/stronger/heavier men getting more snaps.
and not a peep.
Or Thibodeaux with 94% and barely knew he was out there. These are two guys that are supposed to be stars and they are disappearing.

Yep.
I can almost make an excuse for Williams given his age and the double-teams he's taking on with only him and Dexter with their hand in the dirt.
But Thibs... WTF? Didn't he get the e-mail that the official season started last week?

Clearly not ready yet.

If Thibs lacks strength in his legs, as has been said here repeatedly, is he really up to setting the edge?
