Feels like a huge game @ MetLife for both teams. The Pats can't afford to drop to 0-3 & the Jets need to beat the Patriots for the first time since Reagan was POTUS.

Haha! Touché
They only played the Cardinals and Broncos.
Josh Allen could be a slate breaker. Lesser known plays could be the big difference maker..
Market. Wanted to see their shiny new RB in action. He might be the very best in the NFL right now!

Just some Sunday morning fun and trash talk - oh yeah, have to take the trash out too - garbage pickup day tomorrow!
With that coach, the Chargers could very much lose to absolutely anyone.

He's really unique to watch. His start/stop/start moves are so entertaining
The way things are going the Jets are going to be lucky to score three points today or get anywhere close to the red zone
Yeah, that game coming up against them does not bode well...
On my screen its options are given in its own tab below the single game options.
On game topic. The Commanders struggling to protect Howell and just now Allen hits a 35 yard strike to Gabe Davis.
Interesting, isn't it.
And that was a coverage sack
I hope the Bills beat them by 40
Honestly one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.
Looked like sauce was jogging there
Brutally bad
Lets throw to the flat behind the line of scrimmage and get TFL'd. Brilliant!!
Wilson isn’t making 250 million
(As an aside I’m shocked that the guy who paid DW all that money is the same guy who told Billy Beane that it was a good thing he got Johnny Damon off his payroll)

Yep. Still made the FG though, thankfully

Winston time
That looked like the dreaded collar bone injury
Their offense has been putrid from the playcalls, to the accuracy in passing, to the pass protection.
The way they’re playing Washington will be tough to beat too
The Skins are getting curb stomped. Howell's notched 3 picks and looked as bad or worse than that result.
They have run well today but Bieniemy thinks he's Andy Reid.
He was good the first two weeks. They’re not going to bench him for one bad game

At least has a go to in Brissett if they have to. I think they give Howell next week but if he struggles again they’ll make move.

Yeah a little reality check for him today on playcalls a bit for sure. Our matchups with Washington really only concern me from standpoints of ensuring we have gameplan with controlling their run game a bit and keeping their D line from consistent disruption so Jones can work the defense over. Both very winnable.

Yup. Took him in early 2nd this past draft.
They are the most impressive team in the NFL - IMO.
They are crushing teams.
There's a lot of bad teams - again - in the league this year.
If the Skins come back it will because of another idiotic call.
This leagues so dumbed down now.
23-0. Be nice to see the Bills finish off the shutout.
The defense HATES Wilson. They didn’t even hide their disdain last year.
Ugly job so far in Denver.
I love seeing these coaches that had HOF QBs who retired see what it’s like for all the other coaches in the league.
If he wanted to win, he should have held out until Staley gets fired.
He would have been worse behind that o line
Should have taken Payton when they had the chance
He would have been worse behind that o line
If Broncos fall flat all year wouldn’t shock me at all to see Payton force another big move for his QB in draft to develop.
Fuck him! Bastard would run up the score with the Saints…so I hope Miami puts up 70 on him
They are the best watch in the NFL...
It's nice.
They knew that. Put all their eggs in Rodgers and his wide receivers.
No one who is serious is.
They gave the game away, btw, to Pittsburgh, too, on Monday night...
Even if the game is a loss already.
Payton’s comments on Hackett did not go unnoticed by the coaching fraternity.
Broncos putting the QT in QUIT.
Nothing new. George Allen called a time out to run up the score on the Giants
I think they are worried about potential total points as a tie-breaker... ;)

Combination. Denver looked like they had no fucks left to give from the start. Add in that Russ looks like Deshaun Watson without the suspension excuse. He’s just always a little off. Or the line messes up. Or a receiver falls down.
MOTHERFUCKING CHARGERS!
x infinity.
Give the job to Kellen Moore.
Lamar has been awful and he's being given chance after chance.
Colts had a 4th & 1 and had Minshew in shotgun.
Yep.
Miami racked up 726 yards of offense, which is an NFL record.
In the Colts-Ravens game, the Colts get away with pass interference on 4th and 3 and get the ball back around midfield
There are quite a number of BBI posters who watch a ton of NFL games. And it's quite apparent those who don't...

Another big blown lead is going to give that team a complex.
Didn't Osborn drop the td followed by hockenson? Can't blame him for this one. Also he had like 8 comebacks last year.
9-0 and somehow I feel like that point will be meaningful. Or not. Dallas will turn this around. But the Cards are not total patsies.

There was a penalty, so the ball was at the one yard line. The pLay call sucked though

Here this will help.... If we had drafted him, our coach would be Judge and our GM would be Getlleman. Every team misses on picks. Agree. I know it's hard to watch. His burst actually seems faster than Taylor's. But he has a long way to go before we can think about their careers. Had the Giants done better with the accumulated picks, it would sting less. But we don't know yet how those will turn out. Except Toney.

Let's see how it shakes out. Shawne Merriman looked like LT his first 3 seasons or so too.
@Connor_J_Hughes
I’ve covered teams that fracture. Players arguing with themselves/coaches on sideline, one side pulling weight while other doesn’t, falling well short of preseason expectations?
That’s how it happens.
You can see the makings off it with the #Jets
I know people were down playing our win saying the Cards are the worst team in the league. When you see how well they are playing vs Dallas.. hopefully you can feel better about our win last week.
Parsons combination of power, speed, quickness and desire is pure LT. Merriman was a very good player. Parsons is elite.
If you noticed Lawrence was unworldly his Freshman year and went backward after that. Stil great but never matched his 1st year at Clemson.

Kind of seems silly how some have tried to dismiss an historic comeback.
Our very own Anakim was his biggest fan if I remember correctly. No offense Anak!!
And by the way, if you fail on the first try you still only have a 50 percent chance at making the second when you HAVE to make it.
And it looks like we have a new favorite for the top pick in Denver.
But things settle out between week 4 and 6.
Also… what team will Justin Fields be on next season?
It’s hardly all his fault. DJ Moore dropped a bomb after being surprised by the accuracy of Fields throw.

Probably
Little doubt. They're already trying to give the lead away.
Still nice to see Dallas get beat up for a half.
A very legitimate concern, it appears.
No doubt.
Is Ceedee Lamb the new Michael Irving pushing off on DBs to create space...as he holds on a Pollard run
They have so little talent. Dallas has Pro Bowlers all over. Gannon is doing a tremendous job.
Cardinals are going to be in the game into the 4 th quarter, not many expected that.
Cowboys are rolling now, but have allowed the Cardinals to stay around where one more big play favoring the Cards will be tough to overcome

Dak sucks in red zone and they miss Elliott for the tough yards. Trevon Diggs might be one of the top 5 worst guys for them to lose too. Loving watxhing this. Dak is Tony Romo 2.0. All the similarities are wild...4th round picks, unclutch, big in small moments, red zone struggles. I could go on
Arizona is a scrappy team. Gannon s defense plays hard, and Conner/Brown/Ertz/Moore are legit nfl skill guys
Love bets like that lol. Only bet NFL and UFC but I'll typically pick the slate every week/PPV. Almost hit a few but not yet lol
The Pats run game is also a threat.
Looking forward to that and the transitive property being thrown around all week, while ignoring that the team that got dominated by Arizona beat the Giants 40-0
You were rooting for the Cowboys for $370 bucks? That’s pretty weak.
I'm a Jones guy, if he threw that pass there'd be no defending it. A few would, but they're a minority and probably not worth engaging.
You sell out pretty cheap. I'd need at least $5,000 to root on those turds.
And against this team that just closed out the game with a really bad interception when they watched the Giants a they saw a fantastic performance
They are. Games are independent events, this says nothing about the Giants win vs Arizona or the loss against Dallas.
They do, even when those of us who actually watch know there's 50+ other problems on this team than QB.
Great win by Gannon. Dallas is hampered by injuries but so were NYG against the Cardinals and Jones balled out.
The league is really bad right now save for a couple teams. The Ravens defense and Special Teams gave a Lamar three chances to win today and he failed every single time. He was outplayed by Minshew. Wants to be Patty Mahomes when he's still the same running QB who occasionally passes. What's his contract again.
I would have never seen Arizona and Josh Dobbs gashing Dallas for 28 points and 200+ yards rushing.
The old saying is a great defense travels...
Hmmmmm.
Everyone said Bucs and Cards were two worst teams in the league and tanking for Caleb. Both have been the biggest surprises.
I guess the Cards aren't the worst team in football?

Dallas has same problem it had last year. It has personnel that they need to blitz a lot and run stunts and edge rushes, but the defense Quinn has to use, it opens up the first level of the defense up front for big runs.

I think the Bears own the mantle now, with Vikes and maybe Titans jockeying behind them.
Could’ve had him in rd 3 last year. I think I started a thread about him, he looks better than thibs.

I can tell ya that
Can you imagine if Daniel did that
From a pristine pocket he threw into triple coverage for a pick that lost the game. If DJ did that this site would implode
Love bets like that lol. Only bet NFL and UFC but I'll typically pick the slate every week/PPV. Almost hit a few but not yet lol
yea no risk high reward. I had another with the same three teams left. At halftime it was worth $80. After the cards last td it went down to $24. I cashed that out and let the $1 ride just in case of a miracle. Clearly that didn't happen lol
Forgot about Broncs. You are right. The Vikings look horrendous at times too. Titans look like they’re teetering on start of a rebuild.

to hand it to the Cards. More proof that NFL players don't "tank," and that games are not played on paper.

Them bouncing back after the Giants loss, is impressive

It's a different world on O with a backup OL, and on D playing from behind.

I do deserve to get some crap. betting does mess with rooting interests. I never bet on or against the giants
The game against the cowboys was an implosion from the start. I never thought it had to do with coaching
This whole rough beginning stretch of the season is stabilized if we can do that.
Broncos are averaging 23 PPG.
The Bears are averaging 12 PPG.

I get the makeshift OL POV. But losing Diggs shouldn't have resulted in this type of exposure.

Watching Cowboys lose today to a team we beat has salved the wounds in my heart and diminished my melancholy of the Thursday night loss.

Yep, but right now Giants are tough to trust

Talent level isn’t as bad as we thought, the coaches are learning as they go, and the team has pride. Pride matters in athletes and competition to win.

I think it's more about playing from behind.
Plus Connor is damn good. He runs hard. We could really use a punishing back for a change of pace.

I guess it helps to have a great G like Will Hernandez... ;)
Kidding aside, look at this Cards OL:
LT: DJ Humphries
LG: Elijah Wilkinson (undrafted)
C: HJalte Froholdt
RG: Hernandez
RT: Paris Johnson (2023 1st rounder)
Also, and more importantly
Josh Dobbs is better than Kyler Murray
Just looking at the scores for the first time today. Wow..
Just looking at the scores for the first time today. Wow..
Sean Payton had the score run up on him as redemption for how often he did the same thing when with the Saints. Also the bounty gate shit

Miami could have scored more and set a record. They chose not to

Complementary football.
With AT back and Saquon, our OL will be fine when we play a 3-phase game.
Plus the baseball maxim don't trust what you see in September applies to the NFL, now that they practice less than high school teams.

In addition after the 2 wins by a margin of 70 to 10 and reading the headlines of how great they are they were due for a tremendous letdown A classic trap game

that MIA dropped a 70-spot on DEN, and CARD beat DAL?

Way back in 2011 Sean Payton ran the score up on us in one of the final games the Giants lost before going on to win the Super Bowl that year and I never quite forgave him for it

Arizona certainly looking far from the worst team in the NFL after 3 games.
Giants take note.
I think he just twisted his ankle similar to Barkley

Perhaps also redemption for those strong rumors that Payton and Brady were maneuvering behind the scenes to go to Miami together last year which would have derailed Mike McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel might feel a way.
If John Gruden's ummm, "problematic" old emails hadn't surfaced and he was still there I wonder if they would be better

team in the NFL
Broncos are averaging 23 PPG.
The Bears are averaging 12 PPG.
LOL.
First of all - Broncos had a kick return for a TD today, so they are only averaging 21 points on offense thru the first 3 games. Not to mention they scored a meaningless TD today in the 4th, when they were down by FIFTY POINTS.
Moreover, the stats are skewed even more when you consider they scored 33 points vs a bad WASH defense, who have given up a whopping 86 points in three games (29 PPG) And let's not forget their last TD was on a hail mary that got tipped a total of three times before being caught.
So while the offense is technically averaging 21 points a game, they scored 16 and 13 offensive points in the two games against a non WASH defense. Wow, impressive!
Stats sure can be misleading sometimes, eh?
Oh, and who cares if a team is averaging 23 points per game when they give up 70, lol.
As an entire team, the Bears are an awful team no doubt, but DEN isn't THAT far behind them...
He was obviously banking on getting the ball back with enough time to score another TD
Quote:
I've ever seen. Nothing made sense about going for a field goal there rather than going for it on fourth down.

Yes. But what do you think has better odds of scoring a TD, 4th and 4 at the 8 or having to drive 60+ yards with no timeouts?
If you go for it and don't convert, you need a TD. If you kick a FG, you need a TD. The only scenario you don't need a TD is scoring a TD and not converting the two point attempt.

You are correct. They should have gone for it on 4th and 4.
Joe Judge calling two QB sneaks--née, dives into the line--says hello.
Not much to see. One catch for -1 yds. Lol
