Yes we are 1-2 got beat by two excellent teams. But we played SF much closer than expected. Even my 9er fan friends were nervous. Did you hear how quiet and uneasy Levi stadium was for the first half? Think about all those tipped balls in the first half. Normally the defense gets one or more.
Yes we had a patch work line and no 26. The pass rush was closer than you think Purdy took a bunch of shots.
In the end more talent wore us down we were never going to compete for a SB this year. Daboll Is al learning Kafka iDK what's going on there. We are still a few players away and the good ones we have need to learn and get reps. The needle is pointing up finally. We may only win 7 or 8 games and these will be all grinders. But better days are coming
So, these things must be corrected before our team can truly compete.
The next few games will tell us all we need to know. We are still very young and I expect us to improve a lot between SF and the end of the season.

Agreed, I could see the offensive line honing into a unit that looks completely different from early season, into mid to late season. I'm not saying we win a superbowl, but the 2007 giants had a bit of a hodge podge o line that played better each week of the season until they honed into a formidable unit down the stretch. This happening with our current o line isn't out of the realm of possibility.
Maybe seasoned fans are more patient than the “youts”.

You said it very nicely.
Yes it's still very early, but this ^^^ hits home for me. Coming off of last season this team is still searching for an identity.
We if so then our coaching is terrible.
You are what your record says you are
Miami……gulp….on the road
Buffalo……gulp….on the road
I always felt this was a 9-8 type year - they need to clean up a lot of the mistakes before they hit the stretch of winnable games in the middle of October.
This Seattle game coming up is huge for their playoff aspirations.

Which of your two favorite teams will you be rooting for when the Giants play the Bills?
