Dallas going down early to Arizona and making Josh Dobbs look like Superman ALSO makes me feel better. If they fail to come back like we did, then we should be allowed to move ahead of them in the standings. Is that how it works?
who wanted the Giants to give up multiple high picks for Russell Wilson
I wasn't one of those people but his decline has to be one of the most shocking storylines in football that I have ever followed. Dude was legit considered elite for years, maybe one step below the very top.

Is it really, though?
Back before Brady and Rodgers, a QB losing it in his mid-30s was pretty normal.

But wasn't he great his final year with Seattle? He just fell off a cliff.

He was showing signs of decline even in his last year there - which was part of the reason why the Seahawks didn't mind letting him move on.
They can get out from under Wilson’s contract after this season for a mere dead cap hit of $107mm.
Pretty manageable.
With today's loss and the way the team looks, if you're the Broncos you have to actually consider taking that cap hit and letting the chips fall where they may.

Can you field a team with a 107 million dollar dead cap hit?
Hopefully our defense plays a lot better when we face the Dolphins. Otherwise 40 points allow might be realistic given up. If Miami is undefeated and we hand them their first loss, it would be awesome.

The signs were there his last year in SEA, but having metcalf and Lockett to catch passes covers up a lot of shortcomings.
and am happy he's here, but if I was able to choose a coach back during our search, I really wanted McDaniel. I think he's really intelligent and creative and approaches xs and os different than most.

I was into moving on Adam Peters as the GM and then him hiring McDaniel.
RE: Did Denver's defense put up the worst performance of Week 3?
will take a lot of crap as he should for criticizing the prior coaching staff. Dolphins are looking strong but it is a long season. Over a third of the league is scoring less than 20 pts/game with a couple teams breaking the trend for now.
would it help if the Giants used Hyatt like Miami does Tyreek Hill?
I've seen plays where Hill is motioned so that he's running at near top speed already when the ball is snapped. Prevents hip from being pressed by DB's.

Wilson didn't have a bad game. He threw for 300yds. I think the story here is that Denver's defense gave up over 700yds and 10 touchdowns. That's not on Wilson.
The broncos gave up 726 Yards of offense!
I wonder if they both will need to answer the same questions Jones and Daboll did from week 1.
Announcers blaming it on them having 2 first time starters on the OL.
Bummer.

Is that a record?
He's playing at an MVP level but you have to admit that paying him is a very scary thought. He is one hit away from a career ending concussion.
People on BBI heads would explode not spending every premium pick on the OL.
And they did this today without Jaylen Waddle.
the Dolphins defense is very mediocre so if they stall this year that will probably be why.

As long as it’s not 70 ;)

I worry about that regardless of who we’re playing
Between him and Adam Gase.
Pretty manageable.

I’ll provide my monthly reminder that Gettleman is only the 2nd worst NFL GM of the 21st century. Thank you George Paton.
I was thinking about that, too.
It's almost like the football gods have decided to teach Payton a lesson...

It reminds me of when the Vikings traded a bunch of picks for Herschel Walker.

Yep. 726 yards of offense in one game is an NFL record

In two weeks we might know exactly how they feel.
Well let’s see, 40, 28 & 30. Perhaps Wink is in the same boat, no?

Credit where it's due, though: Cleveland's defense has been terrific so far.

Cleveland has the best defense in the league. They are scary good. If Watson can regain his Houston form, then they are a sneaky contender.
