Well, he was last with Minnesota. But I don't see the Wolves moving KAT. And his time in Minnesota predates Edwards, not that I think he's on the block.
So, I guess, I have no idea what it means. Just might be a title.
Nothing. Leon likes Rosas and now Rosas has a title (and the Knicks will go without a GM this season) with Perry leaving/being shown the door.
-Found it somewhat interesting from Austin Rivers claiming Thibs didn't want him added to the Knicks roster but Leon added him anyway. A little behind the scenes regarding how much power Thibs may or may not have.
considering that Rosas was negotiating with Utah for Mitchell last summer, I can't imagine this is much more than making the relationship between Rosas and the Knicks more official. Interesting that he's not been made GM though.

This makes me wonder if it is easier to count the NBA coaches who want anything to do with Austin Rivers than the other way around?
As training camp drew closer, Evan Fournier seemed more resigned to remaining with the Knicks. At least in the short term. But that doesn’t mean he’s suddenly happy about the situation.
“I’m still in New York at the moment,” Fournier said in an interview earlier this month with RTL, a French radio station. “I want to leave. But beyond leaving, I want to have the opportunity to get some playing time back. That’s all. That’s mostly it. Because in New York, I feel extremely good. I love living there, I love the franchise, I love playing at Madison [Square Garden], I love the guys on the team.
“So I just want to play, that’s all. It’s true that finding another club, changing franchises, if that’s what you have to do to play again, that’s what I would like to do.”
It was a slightly different message from Fournier’s previous interviews when the 30-year-old was declaring his Knicks career essentially over because it made no sense for a high-priced veteran to again languish on the bench. An offseason relocation represented the only viable solution, Fournier said in May, adding, “There’s no way they’re going to keep me.” Link - ( New Window )
"The odd timing was part of the reaction inside the NBA.
The Knicks have held onto Randle because there hasn’t been a realistic trade in which they give him up and get better. After 2021-22, when his value was at an all-time low following one of his worst seasons and with an expensive contract kicking in, they didn’t want to attach draft picks just to send him elsewhere. They hoped for a rebound season from him. They got it. Now, after his second All-NBA season in three years, he’s too good to give up without getting something substantial back. I’ve been told James Dolan is a big-time Randle supporter, too, which certainly doesn’t hurt the forward’s job security.
If the Knicks uncovered a trade that made them far better but it meant trading Randle, I think they’d do it — regardless of who is repping him. But Randle is a two-time All-Star in his prime who also requires a specific type of roster to fit. And thus, there aren’t many trades that fit the description, whether Randle is with CAA or not."
The Knicks have only 12 players on guaranteed contracts. They could keep up to three more. Arcidiacono, Brown Jr., Duane Washington Jr. and Jacob Toppin are on training camp contracts. DaQuan Jeffries and Isaiah Roby are on non-guaranteed, one-year agreements. Three more players are on two-way contracts: Nathan Knight, Jaylen Martin and Dylan Windler.

I keep seeing people saying this so I just want to clear it up:
Julius Randle’s previous agent was Aaron Mintz, who repped him at CAA for years. His new agent at WME is Bill Duffy, another power agent. Duffy was never with Randle at CAA.

"The asking price for a player like New York’s Mitchell Robinson, sources told Yahoo Sports, is multiple first-round picks."
watch out for the Knicks with Jrue Holiday and Ramona Shelbourne mentioned the Knicks as well
Not sure I see the plan with Holiday. Backup PG, I guess, but where does that leave IQ (assuming he's not part of the trade, but do we really want to make that trade?).
