What is everyone view on him at right guard? Ever since he step in, Neal has played better. He is technically a rookie since he got hurt last season and will make mistakes. Its good they are giving some consistency/continuity of the line on the right side.
They said Marcus and Ezuedu's college coaching wasn't that good and the line they had in North Carolina, there was alot of potential. Maybe with the right staff, he can be a good guard. Only time will tell.
And if he’s the long-term answer at RG that will go a long way to eliminating the OL as a liability
Neal remains the key.
C’mom E. We don’t have time for that. When my kids were born, I decided which one to keep in 6 weeks. “This one’s doing good rattle work. He’s got good hips. He’s a keeper. Cut his twin. Have the agency pick him up.”
I think because he had more experience at left guard than Mark glowinski did. Since Ezeudu is a backup he can step in at guard or maybe glowinski if needed.
Like most of our OL, his lateral agility and mobility appears limited, which would presumably reduce his success in pass protection. But I agree it's too early to make a definitive conclusion on that issue.

Boomer. It's 4 weeks max these days.
17 game season is almost like two college seasons.
Maybe we should give Lemieux so more time.
I like going with the young guys in this situation, since our older guys stink. Our OL is extremely young, I bet there isn't a younger starting 5 in football.

I'm not saying either will be a star, but:
McKethan has played two games. He has played virtually football for 20 months. He had virtually no snaps in either preseason (less than 10 this year).
Lemieux has played in 12 games, total.
College teams are playing 12 game seasons (so Lemieux has played the equivalent of one college season), up to 14 if they make the final game. So an NFL season is not even one and a half college seasons. Can pro scouts tell after 2 games of a first-time college starter's career that they will be worth drafting in the sixth round?
But hey, he's a sixth round pick and he's not great after two games so we need to start looking elsewhere, right? How did Thomas look his first two games? His first YEAR.
Does it have to take two years? God forbid this kid just develops into a good starter right out of the gate.
It doesn't always take two years. I would like to think we will know whether this kid is worth anything by December.

I mean he's a day 3 pick from a basketball school. 2 games have shown things to like but this type of player is usually considered 'developmental'.
