Wide Receiver Darius Slayton
Q: With all the optimism that you guys had, I know it seems like a long time ago, but week after week, are you kind of stunned that this is still happening, that you guys haven't been able to click and find your way with the offense?
DARIUS SLAYTON: Yeah, we didn't expect it, for sure. We expect to be better, expected to play better but we haven't. That's the reality right now, and we got to go back to work and get better.
Q: To us watching this offense, it looks like you guys are far away from being productive, prolific. How does it feel down there? Does it feel far away?
DARIUS SLAYTON: No, because I mean we had some big plays that we just didn't connect on. We had some chances on some shots down the field and some other plays that we just didn't connect on for whatever reason.
Q: Did you guys feel like you could've made some more plays for QB Daniel Jones? Whether it be the one to you on the sideline or the one to TE Darren Waller, do you think you guys could've helped more?
DARIUS SLAYTON: Yeah, definitely. For sure. I think mine I was close. I've got to watch the film, I'm not sure how close I was. But I'm sure I could've tried to drag and fall, and I'm sure Darren (Waller) believes that he could've came down with that. That's all just steps we have to take and plays we have to make to help him out.
