Not rooting for losses, but not wallowing afterwards either.
I have never rooted for a loss before, but desperate times calls for desperate measures. However, it does not matter as the Mara's are too dumb and "classy" to tank games for a franchise changing QB.
I've never done this before, i like to see them win, but man oh man at this point do I want Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. I just hope if we do have the top pick we choose the right guy.
I'm convinced we will somehow win just enough games to miss out on the blue chip QBs
exactly!!!
plus, this is so set up for us to get it. Carolina is bad,but they have a QB who they need to develop and they don't own the pick so they don't care about the second round pick enough to inhibit the growth of their QB.
We will beat the Pats and the Mara's will slap each other on the back and say "well done, guys" as NE is rushing up to the podium to select Caleb Williams.
They have Atlanta, GB, and Tampa at home in December. Those teams could be eliminated by then and not care anymore, whereas the Carolina staff will be desperate to have a few wins on their resume going into the offseason...with no motivation not to play all out.
give it to me! yeah yeah. gimmee that number 1. oh yeah. you know how i like it.
Oooh boy 5 more months of you clowning yourself in every draft thread in some vain effort to mock the thought of getting better via the draft and those who share it
I am rooting for losses. I don’t care about winning meaningless games in a lost season, especially since they could miss out on a franchise altering QB.
Anyone here wish the Giants beat the Panthers week 17 of 2003 instead of losing?
would be a nice consolation prize for all we've had to endure.
Hey, they said the same thing in 2018 :P
The 2018 draft was definitely QB hyped but I would put all 3 of the top guys above any QB in the 2018 draft. That 2018 draft had a guy with crazy tools that were really raw (Allen) and guys who while talented were not elite at any one thing in Mayfield, Darnold, Rosen. I liked Darnold and Allen a lot but did not like Mayfield or Rosen.
As far as skillset goes besides Allen none of the guys in the 2018 draft even sniff the physical talent of Williams, Maye or Daniels.
Williams physically probably is 3rd in that group as far as build, frame, arm etc.
the Eagles have everything wrapped up by week 17 and they throw the final game against us just to screw us in the draft
Really need Lions to go 15-2 which is possible because their schedule is very easy outside of the cowboys. If they do that and Eagles get tripped up at least once they will have to try to win week 18
would be a nice consolation prize for all we've had to endure.

Only qb u liked was Allen, but I thought his inaccuracy at a small program like Wyoming was too concerning. Trading down and targeting Allen would have been the best move. At least saquon wasn't a bust. He could really be a great Robin to a good rookie qb playing batman.

Eagles play the Chiefs, Bills, 49ers and Cowboys the next 4 weeks. Then the rest of their schedule is a breeze. Let's hope they lose at least 2 of the next 4.

They would beat us with their backups lol. And they aren't throwing a game with their reserves. They want those guys to play well and be confident and ready to go in case of injury. Don't be silky the Eagles aren't the least bit worried about us. They don't care if we have the 1st pick lol
Is running the offense, Johnson coaching the O line giants have a great shot at the number one draft pick….panthers have to win two and this Daboll led dysfunctional staff will take care of the rest!
With a top 3 pick. We'll end up with a franchise altering talent, no matter what. But I'm really starting to think the top 2 is definitely within reach, and realistic (our luck be damned).
You think the Cards will regret playing Murray again?
RE: What game(s) does anyone think Carolina might win?

You don't think Tampa, Atlanta, and GB have the same motivation? Players are playing for jobs.

This line is hilarious. You don't think the Eagles players, and especially their coach won't want to hammer the Giants?

I feel like I am watching now just as a perfunctory effort, sort of like breathing lol
