This team and the fans are so full of excuses that they contradict what's happening across the NFL.
"The defense is out there too long" - Yeah so is the Jets defense and they're not getting their doors blown off every week.
"We're down to a rookie QB starting" - So are the Raiders, Texans and some other teams but they apparently can throw passes forward. For yards. And TD's.
"Injuries derailed us" - Seems like most teams around the league can blow off injuries w/o a ton of issues. We lose our LT and it's fucking bedlam.
This franchise is a complete dumpster fire and it feels like it goes deeper than players and coaching. I don't know who the hell sold their soul to the devil for the 2007 and 2011 Superbowls but this shit isn't fun.
Move over Cleveland, we're the new face of dis-functional franchises and I don't see it getting better anytime soon. Draft a QB you say? We lose 1 player on the offensive line and that new shiny QB is going to get murdered. I just don't understand how we just can't even be competitive! Forget winning, just be fucking COMPETITIVE at this point!
We're all frustrated, but come on with some of those comparisons.

Yeah, he did. And to an upper fourth round pick too. I guess he thinks a coach can make a rookie free agent QB morph into Mahomes when he gets to start.
He also ignored that the Giants D was on the field more than 37 minutes Sunday, with the number even more lopsided in the first half, while the Jets D was on it for 29.5.
Apparently he also thinks Thomas is the only key Giant to be injured this year. He must have missed Barkley, Jones, Waller, Bredeson, Schmitz, Taylor, Ezeudu, McKethan, Neal, Bellinger, Ojulari, Banks, Jackson, and now Thibs and Flott, not to mention Brightwell, Gray, Peart, Lemieux, and Gano. He must think it's no problem starting an entire O line for two games that had fewer than 35 starts among them - and then having two of the get hurt and be replaced by practice squad call ups.
He seems to come from the "tough guy" school of football fans, who listen to coach speak that you can't blame injuries. But every coach knows injuries play a key role in whether a team can be successful. At times, half of the offensive starters were out, and some of their backups were out too. I guarantee coaches know that the teams winning divisions and playing for Super Bowls each year are always among the teams with the fewest injuries. But yeah, let's just act macho, puff out our chests, and say injuries are no excuse and they should have had a chance to win every week. That will make it true.

This is where he lost me.
With their 1st round pick back up QB and a bunch of hurt OL? So badly it took an act of God for them to avoid losing to us (with a street rookie QB) and being a mere half game ahead of us in the Tankathon.
What's the bedlam?

about Thomas. It seems like this team is hyper-sensitive to any adversity. Any little bit and bedlam ensues.
What's the bedlam?
Getting utterly destroyed by Dallas twice?
Exactly.
