In Orchard Park. I think Bills romp. Buffalo needs this one siting at 5-4 right now.
Their remaining schedule:
Vs. Jets: Probable win.
@ Eagles: Probable loss.
Bye.
@ KCP: Probable loss.
Vs. Cowboys: Toss up.
@ LAC: Toss up.
Pats: Probable win.
@ Miami: Probable loss.
Hang in there, Banksy. I still think the Bills take this.
More Excuses for Josh Allen

Allen makes Bills mgmt look much better than they really are.
That’s ridiculous. Most of the league would happily switch their offensive personnel with the bills. Diggs/Davis/Kincaid is a very good trio and they have a talented RB with depth. Average OL which should be good enough.
Allen makes really lazy, careless decisions. When he’s doing that he isn’t making the offense better than they really are, he’s throwing away points.
Allen is their offense. The overrated McDermont hasn’t figured out how to develop a running game to support Allen. The receivers are all overrated.
Allen doesn’t make “lazy, careless decisions,” he’s trying to make plays bc no one else will.
His last INT was the pure definition of lazy. He thought the throw would be there and just made a bad decision/throw, too mechanical.

McDermott didn’t make him throw that terrible pass to end the half. And there’s no reason to chase points down 4 points with the defense playing well. Bad play by Allen and Allen alone and this isn’t the first time he’s done that this season.
The Bills are 4th in the league in point differential and might slip to .500. Too many mental mistakes by Allen is a large factor.
Yeah, that scramble is a play he is usually money on.
He's pressing......it happens.
They also are pretty hit or miss after Diggs at WR...
Shocker.

Would you trade Daniel Jones and two 1’s (24 & 25) to Buffalo for Josh Allen so he could reunite with Dabes? That would be hard to pass up for the Bills with this QB draft class.
Dude is so talented and they never give him the ball. Really weird.

You are saying Stefon Diggs is overrated?
Shocker.
Again..all 3 TD drives they had started with Cook igniting the offense on big runs...
dorsey/mcdermott are gone.
I think that's Baltimore's conference. Think.
4 Turnovers and crucial 12 men on the field penalty to lose the game...if/when they don't make the playoffs, McDermott is going to have to answer a lot of questions that he'll have no good answers to.
Calls he was "cooked" maybe premature.

outplayed Allen on the road against a defense that was in his face all night. Just did all the little things, was nice to see.

Ehhhh, is arm is shot. Give him credit for still being athletic and being able to dump off still in a quick way but their entire game is played within 10 yards.
All that to center the kick?
All that to center the kick?
No it was just to make sure the Bills had no time left

....decision to run his kicker on the field like that, and it obviously affected the kick.

Still doesn't make sense to me....wayyyyyy to risky.

Hell no. Allen has been so turnover prone and much less effective since Daboll left. He has a generational arm, but really lacks touch on his throws. He also just makes a lot of boneheaded decisions. No way would I trade a top 3 pick plus 2 other first round picks for Josh Allen.
I guess if your idea of a successful night is dinking and dunking all night is fine, sure Wilson is still capable. Remember the Bills lost all their key players defensively weeks ago.
Broncos aren't winning any playoff games much less a Super Bowl with this current Wilson and his humongous deal.
Interesting post. I like it.

So is our offense, and it’s because of the OL, same with Denver. As the announcers stated they want to take deep shots, Payton was calling for them, but the pass rush was in Wilson’s face all night. He doesn’t have a big arm anymore but it’s plenty good enough IMO.

Its my entire point - the big arm is gone and I don't think it's even that good any more.
That final pass to get PI was woeful. He's got zero zip.
Broncos need a QB but are in a tough spot w/ that contract I suppose.
Also Boles was considered trash until his 3rd year and then progressed.
My point is bad teams can be turned around with a good offensive line, but good offensive lineman take time to develop and they have to grow together and have positional consistency.
Until you have that then you are going to struggle and everyone looks bad.
fix the line.
Wilson still is very smart and can make fast decisions, but as Bill posted above, he doesn't have the cannon arm anymore, so that only will help in short to mid passes IMO.

I think Allen and the offense have lost all faith in Ken Dorsey and he is forcing plays because of it. Just my feeling.
That and the team generally can't close out close games or consistently beat teams that they should beat. That's on McDermott.

So much of what made Wilson "good" or dare I say "great" {barf}, was the deep ball and mobility. Once those become pedestrian, what you get with him in particular, is a rather average QB.
I think people don't realize what the difference between hitting 2-3 deep balls a game versus 0 feels like in reality.....it's humongous.
Such plays are so impactful. Covering 60 yards in one play versus seven, has such a different impact on games.
Especially in Wilson's case.....all that futility drive after drive after drive, and then boom, huge bomb (or huge broken play).
If Zack Wilson could do just that, the Jets would be undefeated probably, even if the rest of his game was no better than it currently is.
Meanwhile what kind of deep ball and mobility did Brady have at age 45? Rodgers pushing 40?
So many examples of older QBs playing better than Wilson at his current age, because they were at their core, BETTER at playing the position.
Guys like Prescott, Tannehill, Cousins.....all better pocket QBs than Wilson, their entire career. Just couldn't quite make the wow plays he did.
Fans are too affected by wow plays.
