Not a ton of huge games, some I’ll be watching:
* UNC vs Clemson - Drake Maye show. I’m sold on him but will be fun to see him take on a recent powerhouse that is favored.
* Rutgers vs Penn - RU!
* Tennessee vs Georgia - upset potential? Always good to scout Georgia, NFL U these days.
What are you watching?
You’re a self admitted homer. Nix is a good college QB who is thriving in an ideal situation with great talent around him in a bad conference. What is wrong with saying that? Is that not untrue?
You’re the one who’s getting your panties in a bunch cause someone disagrees with your opinion on your favorite bobble head player.
And both of these LSU WRs may go first round. Thomas may be the next TO.
Big, fast, cuts in and out of breaks, and he has good hands.
Look out...

Look out...
Williams
Thomas (WR)
Keegan
I’ll take that with our first three picks.

Georgia State?
He just seems to be the most accurate, most dynamic, most athletic. The only negative thing anyone can say is he's thin. He hits the receiver in stride on virtually every pass. That last TD was more impressive than Wiiliams' 55 yarder today. Receiver never had to adjust even one foot. Just ran as fast as he could and the ball just landed in his hands.
Guy just never seem to take that next step.

You are right- he will never be confused with Mahomes, Herbert or similar “star” QBs- he is a QB who will win games because he does the little things that make a QB successful.
He will likely fall farther than he should because he doesn’t have Penix’s arm or Williams feet. But I’d be willing to bet that he wins more NFL games than either one of them
Agree. At least about Penix (we’ll see about Williams)
As a duck fan, i want another crack at UW. Winner could possibly slip into slot #4 in the CFB playoff. Stuff has to happen first, though.
+1. That would be a great game!

Georgia State?
Yes, Georgia State of the Sunbelt.
Great team? Hell no. But Daniels has thrown some darts right on the money and showed his ability to really hit the gas an accelerate when he runs and make amazing cuts.
He did it against Alabama, Florida and FSU, too. Seems like a pattern...no?

Now you’re just being a dick.
He’s a great QB. Period. He doesn’t have the talent of the “top 3”. Never said that. Which is why I’ve said - again and again - he’s a round 2-3 talent.
There will be 4 or 5 QB’s who go before him. As it should be. But he’ll be a successful NFL QB.
Still waiting for you to prove your ridiculous “much better” statement?
No worries; I know why you haven’t. Because you can’t. And that’s OK. Just admit you were hyperbolic and we can move on.

From Penix to Odunze. Very impressed with Penix today, playing a good game in a deluge in Oregon. Huskies ahead 23-10.
He's been impressive every time I have watched him. I think right now he would be a top-10 thrower in the league.
+1. I agree he is a top 10 thrower, I just don't know if he is a top 10 QB, per Speedy's earler comments re resilience and injuries. His age doesn't bother me so much, but his injury history concerns me.
Agreed. It's not all about throwing as we well know. But if he falls, he might be an epic steal.
+1.

I have not seen him once. But I am watching FSU's backup QB throw missiles against North Alabama. He doesn't run well, but he has a cannon. QB rating 164.9.

It should be. But UW has to get past OSU and UO has to get past OSU next week.
But IMHO, the winner of that game deserves consideration for the playoff

+1, and I'm really enjoying this game between UW and OSU.

Listen you came after me with saying my posts are garbage. Instead of trying to debate them.
And yes I think Williams and Maye would have better stats and be better players if they were on Oregon cause they’re better players and have more talent. Look at Williams stats with a below average OL and average at best WRs. And I think your coach is very good where I don’t think Riley is.
I watch to see how QB play under certain conditions. Williams and Maye play under much tougher situations than Guys like Nix and Penix. You even said you think those 2 are better so why wouldn’t they produce better?
It’s a QB friendly system. You may not agree and that’s fine but there are plenty of QBs in college who can do what he’s doingZ I am not a huge Shadeur fan - but imagine him playing for Oregon? He’s a heisman candidate as well.
It is what it is. I am sorry I hurt your feelings but the surrounding cast makes nix better than what he is.
I have not seen him once. But I am watching FSU's backup QB throw missiles against North Alabama. He doesn't run well, but he has a cannon. QB rating 164.9.
You haven't seen Daniels play?
Rodemaker is a big kid for FSU. He can spin it a little bit...

No. Hope to see him in a bowl game.
They now brought in the 3rd string freshman QB Glenn and he may be better than Rodemaker...and he can run. But yeah, Rodemaker has a big arm.
Maybe your knowledge is just severely lacking. Well actually I know it is.
4 times sacked this year. 4
Lack of self-awareness showing. YOU were the one harping on not relying on cherry picked stats- then when called out- you (checks notes) rely on cherry picked stats.
And yes, that’s yet another garbage post by you

LOL. Love how you’ve backpedaled from “much better” to “better”. Yet you’ve even haven’t proved even that, so….just admit you were hyperbolic and we can move on.
I also love how you’ve ignored my comments about how the other QB’s are better than Nix. I’ve already laid out my critique of Nix. How fucking stupid are you?
And yet, you cling to your stupid arguments. Which is baffling because I’ve already conceded it.
You’re a strange dude
You’re a homer who can’t have an honest conversation. Sorry I used the word much better. I’ll try better for you next time for you.

Can you choose which stats were cherry picked? The one where I said he’s been sacked 4 times? I think that’s pretty prevalent to show what type of protection he gets.
Is that so wrong in saying that? But hey he threw 6 TDs today. That’s what matters… I guess…
See what and your buddy don’t realize is we need a QB and I don’t want some guy who showcases as an average QB in the future just because he had a really good college year. Winning heisman and national championships is a great college accomplishments. Means nothing for the Giants.
I’d be very curious to hear how you two would view Nix on a team like USC or Colorado. Or even UNC. Is he a heisman candidate if he’s so great? Love to read what a non garbage post is like from such in-tune posters.
You’re a homer who can’t have an honest conversation. Sorry I used the word much better. I’ll try better for you next time for you.
Suggest the two of you get your own thread. Kindly request you both move on.

My apologies. You’re 100% right.
Watch Daniels next Saturday hosting A&M. Should be a fun game, too...

LOL - you said “much better”. At least own that.
PS - you still haven’t answered the question. Fucktard. How would the top 3 top 78% 3500 and 35?
Again - because you’re apparently too stupid - NIX ISNT AS GOOD AS WILLIAM S, MAYE AND DANIELS. NIX IS A ROUND 2-3 TALENT AT BEST.
there, does that help you understand?
🙄

Enough, already. The kids are watching.
Daniels has over 3500 yards and over 40 TDs.
So if they played on a better team and you and I both agree they are better players - why wouldn’t they have better stats? Daniels plays in a tougher conference and Williams has a lot less talent around him.
I am done answering you since you’re obviously drunk and just throwing out insults and vulgarities. Have a good night and good luck with Oregon the rest of the year.
Penix just made a wondeful sideline throw under pressure, on the run.

Saw that. Was a really great throw. Rain stopped for them at the right time.
Oregon state got their stop.

+1. I think this the offensive series of the game. I don't have much faith in the Huskies defense.
Pretty good catch too
JFC, it's a miracle, Huskies held on 4th down.
His career might be over soon for the Ducks. They’ll go with the freshman next year.

I guess Penix did win it with that 1st down throw. Basically, game over.

LOL! You went from “much better”, to “better”, to drawing even stats.
Again, because you seem really slow - how would the “top 3” have “much better “ stats than nix has put up this year?
Let’s just take today’s game as an example - ducks had 6 possessions in the first half, and scored 6 TD’s. All passes. How would others have done “much better” than that? He’s been excellent all year, and there is no way anyone could have been”much better” than him stat wise. Period.
You’re wrong, and can’t admit it. So sad for you.
And I’ll say once again - because you’re an idiot, apparently- nix is a 2-3 round talent. He should be the 5th-6th QB taken. At best.
But don’t let that stop you from posting your nonsense.
His career might be over soon for the Ducks. They’ll go with the freshman next year.
PS - DJ plays for the beavers, not the ducks.
More stupidly from you.

Pssst - nix also has over 40 combined TD’s this year.
Oregon has scored 530+ points in 11 games this year, which is 46+ PPG. How would have the big 3 done “much better” than that?
Much better is your words, not mine.
Completely fair. Which is why nix and Penix are second tier. The first tier guys are definitely more physically talented.
