Today's win is great. Log a couple more and pick 5-8. Build the lines (both) and play QB scrabble next year. Who knows, maybe Schoen will pull a Kerry out of his hat.
IMO the Giants need to keep him around as backup QB. Jones will be here next year regardless unless they can find a taker in trade. They will have to keep 3 QB if they draft one

Might as well be a Jets fan. Who needs a QB? Overrated position group when you can fish the bottom of the barrel and be so successful in the league. Sarcasm off.
I'm happy for him. He made a bunch of nice throws and didn't turn the ball over. He took a couple of sacks he didn't have to, but he's only in his second start
from what I've seen the QBs people talk about won't make it. One's an EMO, one reminds me of Jones so why pick the same thing and after that what? Maybe if we do draft a QB we do a Howie and trade one next year for '25 picks.
Stoney. The kid got real stones. I’m completely ripping off the great novelist Richard Price here from his book, “Bloodbrothers.” But it’s apt. Hope Tommy gives Mom a night off and they have Sunday dinner at their favorite restaurant instead.
Well deserved win and if this young man isn’t an inspiration to everyone, I don’t know what else to say.
Not sure how anyone could not like the QB’s in this draft. There are a couple guys with elite talent. Doesn’t guarantee they will be great but the potential is as good as any draft
Do I think he is a starting quarterback for the Giants? No. But I do think he could very easily be an adequate back up, which the Giants definitely need.
Great story - great job today by Tommy DeVito. It was a lot of fun to watch and much appreciated. I think anyone who is a Giants fan and grew up or currently lives in or near North Jersey should be really enjoying this.
I totally understand that's it's in the Giants best "NFL business" interest to pick as high in the 2024 NFL draft as possible. I have to admit I was ambivalent as far as who won today. Seasons have to get to the point of complete lost weekend hopelessness for me to feel that way during a Giants game.
All week leading up to the game I'm all for the best "NFL business" outcome. But these lost weekend seasons have become too familiar in the past decade. Being honest I have rooted for them to lose during games in 2003 and in 2021. I thought it was in their and my best long term "NFL business" interest.
I'm happy they won today. I'm happy for Saquon Barkley, Dexter Lawrence, Andrew Thomas and Kayvon Thibodeaux. I think they play 100% every week and I think they're in a tough business.
I think Brian Daboll deserves some credit for Devito going from game 1 not trusted to throw a pass to DeVito game 3 throwing for 3 TDs. I think he's has a bad year. As good as he was last year, this year he's been that bad.
QB 1 hurt, QB 2 hurt, QB 1 back but hurt again, QB 2 still not ready to play. The only QB left is a rookie UDFA who is not considered a prospect.
Devito was clearly overmatched in Las Vegas. I thought he improved a little bit in Dallas but he didn't play like a QB that could win games.
Today playing against, in all fairness, a lower quality defense than LV and Dallas. The Giants didn't have 300 yards total offense, punted 7 times, were sacked 9 times and only had 13 first downs compared to 25 for Washington.
On the plus side he did do things we haven't seen from an NYG QB since Eli. He completed a few passes that were thrown with anticipation and threw two beautiful TD passes to Barkley. Both TD passes to Barkley had almost perfect ball placement. One long, one short. He completed a few passes outside the numbers on the boundary side. He found the TE wide open.
He tried to spread the ball around. I know some of the sacks were on him and he held the ball too long at the wrong times. But all things considered I think he played well. I'm not anointing him. But I think there's a chance Giants have their #2 QB for 2024. Hopefully his isn't his high point and we get to see him play the rest of the games this year.
Yeah, great story we found out backup. Meanwhile, who is our starter?
Congrats kid

Talk about being short sighted

That the three QBs you named stink. Unless this is sarcasm
Knowledge of football... I kid... I kid...
If nothing else, he'll have a good story to tell his grandkids.

DeVito: 6
Jones: 2
Taylor: 2
DeVito: 6
Jones: 2
Taylor: 2
Devito's 6 TDs in half the attempts it took Jones to get 2 TDs.
This is shocking.

Eric, so what are you saying to your daughter’s boyfriend?
He didn't come in... I wonder why! (grin)

would have thought that right before Thanksgiving, the Giants passing TDs would be:
DeVito: 6
Jones: 2
Taylor: 2
Devito's 6 TDs in half the attempts it took Jones to get 2 TDs.
This is shocking.
Yes assclowns on this site say it's all because DeVito has played bad defenses.

The line played better. Even though he was sacked 8 times.

A decent amount of those early sacks were on him. He started getting the ball out quicker as the game progresses
