To those who have been lucky enough not to live in the Maryland or DC area this is the norm. Dan Snyder went around buying up radio stations and replacing all the hosts with the biggest homers he could find. The guy literally bought stations so that they wouldn't criticize him or the organization.

This…I was listening on the way home from OC. Such homers, not nearly as professional or competent as Banks and Papa. Just awful, I had to turn it off to ensure my BP didn’t reach unbearable levels,
Larry was in the unenviable position to have to try to call a game around the insufferable nonsensical ravings of Huff and Jerguson. I actually felt bad for him at times.

I caught some of our own guys here on WFAN in the car and it wasn’t much prettier. Papa was outraged that Slayton didn’t catch the ball (on the play he was injured on) and they spent a lot of time ripping the refs (maybe rightfully so, but still a bad look).

The Giants announcers will call out the Giants if they aren't playing well, the Redskins announcers would never do that.
