with 10+ sacks in teams first 11 games at age 22 or younger. He's been pretty damn good this year. Pretty great list to be on! Here is the full list
Kayvon (2023)
Garrett (2018)
Bosa (2017)
Ngakoue (2017)
Von (2011)
JPP (2011)
Julius Peppers (2002)
Derrick Thomas (1989)
Leslie O'Neal (1986)
Imagine how good he d be if he wasn’t a bust.
Or be a loner who sulks on the bench.
Could be a pro bowl season for the bust.
Two ends; A'Shawn is a free agent.
Parson had 8.5 in first 10 his rookie season and 8 in first 10 his second year but he was also. 22 as a rookie and is 24 now.
I guess he aged out of that one

I thought he’d be on that list

Thanks
In KT's defense, he doesn't get to pad his stats by going against the Giants, while other players were given this advantage.
There it is, right on cue 🤣🤣🤣
The entire thread is a deflection
Adding an ER threat on other side (bye Ojulari) is quite critical.
Heck just having somebody reliable, doesn't have to be another 1st rounder or a high priced FA, just somebody with some ability and dependability and not being hurt every other play.
Tibs was allowed to stunt and to rush from the interior.
He was playing off Dex's shoulder.
They are quite the combo.
He is playing stronger establishing an interior bull rush.
His strength also opened the outside speed rush as the tackle had to honor his power and could not over set.
The biggest improvement is Tibs use of his hands. He is able to create space by getting inside the ol arms.
This portends great things in the future.
If he can continue to get stronger and refine his technique he will be a force.
They ran a loop for him when he came in over the center . That was good to see. Right now his game is reminiscent of Mark Gastineau . Until I see it against the Eagles , Cowboys and the Niners and Lions, when they play those teams , I’m skeptical . But he has a place in the league , certainly . He could turn out to be very good , maybe great . But no way he is there now.
The Giants fattened up on 2 games with the Commanders and another with the Jetsons, whose offensive line might be worse than the Giants .
The big plays will come with time.
Also, he hasn't always had the luxury of playing defense with a big lead. Those scenarios seem to be a nice way of splash plays and padding the sacks.
Where did this story line come from again? I know it's pure sarcasm now just dont remember the origin.
1) We are witnessing the rare Giants draft pick that improves from year 1 to year 2
2) He's averaging almost a sack a game in year 2 thus far
Even if this is his ceiling (which given point #1 is unlikely) he's still a useful starter in this league and may have already hit the floor of his draft position.
There are plenty of one dimensional edge players that were mediocre or worse against the run but were good starters in this league for years. Simeon Rice was completely disinterested in the run and made the Hall of Fame.
Just enjoy the growth and hope it continues.
The issue is the guys on the other side of the DL

And another end next to Dex. Then we got something.

Ooof....make it 3, to be safe.
