Gary Brightwell, Eric Gray and Matt Peart are eligible to be return from IR this week. All three have been working on the side with trainers for weeks. These moves a strong sign that Peart and at least one RB will be activated this week
I get your sarcasm there but, we need to see him get RB reps. We have to know what we have for next year as you can only fill so many holes and we may need to expend draft capital to get a QB..

I didn't see Gray show anything at all during the season indicating he should get reps. He looks slow and indecisive. Honestly, I'd rather them play brightwell who is a good special teams player and can bull rush straight ahead. I guess I'm being to harsh, but I didn't think Gray had any "juice" and they need a day 2 caliber not a day 3 calibe RB added to the backfield.

You can tell what he is from 12 carries against the Dolphins when the starting o line left to right of Ezeudu, Glowinski, Bredeson, McKethan and Neal? And then two PS players had to play when Bedeson and McKethan got hurt. And Jones got hurt.
Can't believe NFL teams haven't scooped you up to be director of pro scouting.

Yeah, Gray has shown nothing. Nice try but he was right. Slow, indecisive and no burst.
Neither does Peart. I guess that Josh Miles must be pretty bad if Gmen consider Peart to be better.
And who needs Brightwell?
This is why I’m not a fan of Daboll. I don’t trust he knows players’ talent and let’s go of players who are better than we keep.
You're not a fan of Daboll because Schoeb drafted Eric Gray, or because Gettleman drafted Brigtwell?
Because he cuts better guys and keeps lesser guys…..Crowder cut for Shep and or Gray for one…..Phillips cut over Peart for two…..Tanner Hudson for three….

Good point. If Dabs only had your brilliance -- especially with Phillips and Peart because that's something you have such insight into. And giving a rookie 5th round draft pick a roster spot even though he's not currently contributing. Idiocy! What competent HC would allow that?
Brightwell, Gray and Peart, 3 guys who should have been cut after

The strange part of all of this with all the injuries Miles never sniffed a snap. Now Peart will be back and hopefully inactive most weeks.
Outside linebacker Benton Whitley signed by #Giants off #Vikings practice squad - ( New Window )
I like Brightwell. I think he’s a pretty good runner and contributes on specials.
As to Peart, I’m puzzled as to why he’s on the team.
Corbin, Phillips and a TE than can block.

Plus Shane Lemieux.
