That 49ers D was the best since the 2000 Ravens IMO. And they had Eli on grass, in the rain, on an intentionally muddied up field.
How many QBs even manage to play 60 minutes? All time great performance.
I think any reasonably intelligent, dedicated Giants fan knew that the casual fan would miss the Eli era once it was over.
Has there ever been a more ridiculed, mocked, underappreciated star player in sports than Eli Manning? People say things like "he's not as good as Peyton!" like its some kind of insult.. its ridiculous. When I was younger the Philly hate bothered me then I eventually realized it was just jealousy.
