I don't follow the process as much as i do with NFL, but my brother in law wants to make plans to fly down to Houston for the 1/8 game (Monday College Bowl Final) if Michigan makes it.
Any College fans here can shed any insight into process, like do they wait until Bowl games are played or is this known in advance or when?
The other area of concern will be when passing how do their offensive tackles hold up ? Their main 3 in the defensive line are bedrock . They have an excellent secondary so they should be able to hold up reasonably well playing the 2 west coast teams if it comes to that . I have a feeling Alabama is going to beat Georgia . That would really jam up the pecking order . There are some weird scenarios if Texas beats Oklahoma St and Louisville beats Florida St.
America’s team is going . Iowa couldn’t beat them at Kinnock.
They manned up, faced the penalties without concrete proof and still went out and handled business against 2 Top 10 teams. Oh, and they did this without Jimmy Football at the helm.

Oregon(6) vs Washington(4) (on friday)
Okl St(20) vs Texas(7)
Georgia(1) vs Alabama(8)
Louisville(10) vs Florida St(4)
Iowa(17) vs Michigan(3)
I see Texas, Georgia, Florida St, and Michigan winning. Oregon/Washington is a toss-up.
As long as there are no upsets (and whoever wins Oregon/Washington), the decision committee will have to decide who the four of these five will go. Someone will get left out. So the committee is hoping for one upset to make their decision easy.
I think Fl St has the greatest possibility of an upset. If Alabama beats Georgia, yes, an upset, but Alabama will be selected IMO. If Louisville, Ok St, or Iowa win, I don't see them being selected for playoff. Then if more than one upset occurs, Ohio St could slip in?
Then what do you do with Georgia. They have to be out. Right?
That's a foregone conclusion. The Big Ten west is terrible. Iowa has a horrible offense and Michigan has a dominant defense. Iowa probably gets shut out.
As B in ALB used to say... "HAIL".
