I don't feel like hearing about Kane improving this Red Wings roster all night from the TNT guys.

It was one of those games where the puck just wouldn't go in the net. It was 2-1 in the 3rd, then they started pressing and gave up the third goal. An empty netter and a garbage time goal with 6 seconds left and it makes you think the game was out of hand. It wasn't, except the Rangers just were snake bitten.

I think they bounce back tonight with Fox on defense. I'm not thrilled with Brodzinski on the third line, but he can't be much worse than Kakko.

What a pk. Watching a disciplined, two way team play has been a lot of fun so far this season.

The difference between last year Lafreniere and this year Lafreniere is night and day. The way he shot out of the penalty box and was after the puck like a heat seeking missile is something you rarely saw out of him before.

I was thinking the same thing. Laf’s passing has been incredible and he’s been so active and noticeable on the ice. Wonderful to see.

Probably Vesey in the short term. There isn’t an ideal answer given the injuries, but Wheeler can’t even skate anymore. At least you know you’re going to get max effort and back-check from a guy like Vesey.

I have rarely logged a single complaint about the Rangers this season. This might be my first, in fact.

Wheeler’s play was awful last night. The second goal was so squarely on him that my 9 year old was able to call it out.

At this point the sample size isn’t that small. Body of work says this isn’t a guy who you want getting top line minutes or sandbagging guys like Mika and Kreider.
