NGT. Did Aaron Rodgers really have a torn Achilles ?

Spider56 : 11/29/2023 3:45 pm
So 11 weeks after his surgery, the Jests opened the 21 day return to practice window for AR today. For all you medical guys out there, what do you think the real story is? Was his new procedure a real medical breakthrough ? Is he a miracle healer? Maybe he wasn’t hurt nearly as bad as was initially reported? Or maybe there’s no chance he comes back this year and this is just another PR play to keep the Jests in the news? I can’t see much logic in risking his 40 year old body to coming back too soon

we can't discuss why so many hate Rodgers. But everyone knows why.

I was going to post this as well. The reasons a lot of people hate (and yes, love) him are pretty obvious but speaking of such things is verboten.

Before he became more "outspoken," so to say, it seems like most people liked him, but I could be wrong.

Him crying in the car with his uncle after cleaning out his locker was honestly one of the most well-acted, devastating scenes I've ever seen.

I liked him initially in Green Bay and I thought he did a vg job with Jeopardy. I started disliking him when he started to dive at the first signs of pressure and then turned it up a notch when he signed with the jests. I have a few guys in a ‘hate’ category, but he’s not one of them.

Lol, yeah because that argument has held up well. And way to make it political.

Haha - well, I guess I did. Btw, I am in full agreement with your 4:06 pm post!

if you did it was in a non-incriminating way - bet you’re a good lawyer.

Had the speedbridge surgery and has been using BPC157 peptide and stem cells to speed recovery. Peptides are a game changer in healing.

It's still a problem. But then again I'm almost 64 and no longer am in consideration for a quarterback job. But I can't see AR coming back this season. It would be foolish. Jets are not going anywhere.

I detest Rodgers, but I somewhat feel bad for him too. He comes across as someone who desperately needs to stay in the news and be relevant.

There’s a reason he’s on Pat McAfee’s show on ESPN every week. He’s the personification of a person who believes he’s smarter than everyone else in the room but, nothing could be further from the truth.

Our views often align but gotta disagree here. Rodgers isn't out there live streaming, in the news every day, etc. No skin off my ass, but the reasons people often give for disliking the guy don't always add up.

Maybe we're seeing a different guy. Have you seen him on Mcafee? Calling Kelce Mr Pfizer? Guy is an attention whore - don't know that's even debatable.
That was a fantastic comment

so anyone that makes a joke is an attention whore or is it only when you don’t like the guy already or the content of the joke?

Does the Manningcast make the Mannings attention whores? All their commercials? All their skits and parody’s?

I didn’t mind the joke, but I’m assuming he didn’t refer to Kelce by that name when he saw him and spoke to him in person a couple days prior at the Jets/Chiefs game. He waits til he’s back on his couch in Cali during an interview.
Kelce took it just fine

seems to me, like usual, it’s fans and the media who make something a huge deal out of nothing. And to earlier points, I do believe Rodgers feeds off that and enjoys mocking the media. I don’t find that to be problematic or a knock on his character - it’s actually quite refreshing.
