I’m watching the sequel When Nature Calls, now. Man Jim Carey was so damn funny back then. These two movies, Dumb and Dumber and Mask are just so freaking hilarious.
Didn't get the love that his other movies got but it aged well. It's fantastic. I love his other movies though like The Truman Show, The Number 23, and Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. I actually never saw Man on the Moon but I wanted to.
Recognition it deserved. Another good one was Cable Guy
Cable Guy was super underrated. One of his funniest movies IMO. The part where Broderick wakes up and Carrey casually tells him the girl he slept with was a prostitute and he can buy next time was hilarious.
and then Me Myself and Irene as a teenager. While I enjoyed his earlier stuff I wasn’t the biggest fan of that kind of comedy so they never really stuck. Slapstick isn’t my thing.
is a movie that was so confounding in that it was one you didn't think much of the first time you watch it but then you start realizing how many lines you remember/quote after.
The password for my Fantasy league was nipple for as long as I remember it being required.
Me, Myself and Irene I watched maybe a month ago for the first time in probably 12 years and I was cracking up the whole time.
love Yes Man too but that could be because of how much I was into Zoey Deschanel a the time...

Me Myself and Irene is extremely overrated. Fucking hilarious movie.

IIRC - this was a movie that parents took their kids too thinking it was typical Carey stuff up to that point in his career.
A little darker but still one of my fav movies of his.
when it comes to comedy .. I don't think he gets the attention he deserves when it comes to the very few stabs he took at serious roles.
He is an amazing actor. Before he blew up with his movie roles I remember he had a small role in a weekly series TV drama as the older child who was an alcoholic. Knocked it out of the park.

I love when his client is on the phone seeking legal advice and he just holds up the phone and screams, “Stop breaking the laaawwww, asshole!”

Matthew Broderick is great as the straight man.
Hold on to your lugnuts, its tiiiiiime for an overhaul
Cameron Diaz in that movie was on another planet of hotness
cotton mouth scene - ( New Window )
the scene when he makes Steve Carrell's character speak gibberish on live t.v. as revenge for him getting the anchor job always cracks me the fuck up.
Morgan Freeman is also the only person alive who can effectively play God.

He is a talented actor.
