Well deserved.

And one of the best draft day steals in franchise history. Great things ahead for Hyatt!
That's great. It must have been tough for him to wait until the 3rd

round to hear his name called.
Man, he sure looks like he belongs. Doesn't he?
KingBlue : 11/30/2023 1:47 pm : link
You can just see his speed and his talent. The way he separates, the way he adjusts to the ball and the way he hand catches. This kid is going to be a star, IMHO.
That’s two in a row ....

this is exhibit A

why tanking is dangerous. Not only that it's simply non existent, especially this early in the season.

Sure would be nice to head into 2024 with some answers at WR. Hyatt and Robinson have a chance to be solutions.

Now if only we could get them the ball....
Awesome news

Well-deserved. Loved him coming out. Can't wait to see what he can do with a functional offense
Somehow our backup QBs are getting the ball downfield.
ThomasG : 11/30/2023 2:39 pm : link
Nice to see Hyatt actually thrown the ball.
…
SFGFNCGiantsFan : 11/30/2023 2:48 pm : link
He must be relieved he has a QB willing to sling it.

Well deserved honor.

Truly. Compare him to our other speed guy Slayton.... while I love Slayton, he just doesn't adjust/catch/move like a WR. Hyatt moves like one. Almost like when I saw Victor Cruz in his 1st preseason game- that dude moved like a WR.
speed as expected but the body control + hands are beyond expectations

a functional offense with him, hodgins, slayton, and wandale could be really good. especially if barkley/waller are healthy.

if they also add someone like nabers or harrison jr, yeesh. look out.
Dumb question
CMACDC : 11/30/2023 2:58 pm : link
Should the Giants still look for a #1 WR in the draft?

Let's hold off on the anointing oil for now.

I've seen plenty of great single games.

Consistency.

draft impact players forget about anything else.

if you could have garrett wilson right now instead of evan neal, would you do that?
LOVE this kid.
Optimus-NY : 11/30/2023 5:05 pm : link
Lots to look forward to with him. His ball tracking is excellent (lol).
And now.....
thrunthrublue : 11/30/2023 7:21 pm : link
looks like the scouts responsible for drafting such an excellent skill players have done their job. Regarding the O line scouts, not so much. Neal has turned out to be a cement legged turnstile, who is easily pushed back, aside and over. Good thing the giants don't have sideline cheerleaders because if he collided with one he'd topple over and be headed to IR.
Every Jalin Hyatt catch from 109-yard game

Deep WR draft.
BigBlueNH : 11/30/2023 8:19 pm : link
I think we'll add one with one of our 4 top 70 picks. If we get the right guy, and Hyatt and WD continue to advance, our WR group could be much improved next season.

Hyatt is for real
Rjanyg : 12/1/2023 9:50 am : link
My hope is that they continue to target him. His route running is improving and he has a little wiggle to his game after the catch.

Congrats #13!

yea that shimmy to get the first down when JC jackson didnt even touch him was a new trick in the bag. in a garbage year (especially for a passing attack) he has shown everything we could have hoped.

LAC would trade quentin johnston for him straight up in a nanosecond if they could. perhaps Carolina too with Mingo.

LOL. Let’s wait a bit.
Hyatt

Not going to lie, if you squint your eyes just hard enough it looks like Odell never left! haha

Both wear 13, relatively same size and stature, dress the same on the field, are fast and have big play ability.

God, did I just conivnce myself that Hyatt is OBJ...
I honestly believe he has the talent to be the best WR from that class
Matt M. : 12/1/2023 7:57 pm : link
I think the Giants are still using him wrong, or at least too limited. He should be getting more than go routes and an occasional deep in. Some quick slants and short crossing routes to try to get him to run away from the defender would be nice.
